This is a shepherd's wool coat from upper Chitral or Nuristan, depicting the branched "ram's horn" and tree of life designs reminiscent of the woollen garments and felts of central Asia. The mountainous area of Chitral adjoins the province of Nuristan in Afghanistan, a historical and geographic starting point for continuous trade routes into central Asia. The coat dates to either the mid or late 20th century and is in excellent condition given its age...
Number 9 in a series of 12 Fornasetti plates commissioned in the 1970’s by Martini & Rossi. Each plate depicts an item in their wine museum in Pessione, in this case the first barrel – Il Primo Tino - used for the fabrication of the famous Martini vermouth. Pessione is a village in northern Italy, not far from Torino. The back of the plate gives a contextual presentation of the plate and has the Fornasetti brush in hand mark. Diameter "9 ¼ / 23.7 cm. Condition: fine.
Designed by Spratling c. 1950's, this martini pitcher & stirrer were hand wrought in Taxco, Mexico. The pitcher stands 5 1/2" tall & weighs 400 grams. The stirrer/spoon is 10" long. Both are in excellent condition. Both the spoon and pitcher are signed on the reverse. The pitcher is pictured on p. 258 of MEXICAN SILVER by Penny Morrill & Carole Berk. Basket weave rectangular cache-pot/flower pot and interior liner by Waechtersbach. Decoration of green dots and a printed flower border in late Art Nouveau or Jugendstil style, also running over the handles of the pot. The liner left undecorated. Impressed shield mark and printed blue mark "Wächtersbach" and a black printed mark, possibly a year mark for 1923, December. Width including handles "7¼/ 18,5 cm, height "2¼/ 5,5 cm. Condition: a hairline visible from the inside of one handle.

Each guys wearing silk garment and hat. Three(3) pieces of accessories came with doll set and the condition is good except silk garments are stained slightly with age and one(1) hat has loose rope.
