Early Showa (1930s) Japanese obidome (sash ornament) of round shape with engraved flowers. Obidome is worn on an obi cord that holds the obi sash together, is the only type of jewelry worn by Japanese women on formal occasions, and could serve as netsuke as well. Very nice work, beautiful patina. Metal fitting on the back with two loops for an obi cord. Diameter 1 1/8 inches.

This difficult to find tool-of-the trade pharmacy “IDEAL CAPSULE FILLER” was used by early 20th century druggists to enhance their capsule production. The patent date is stamped Oct. 31, 1905, and research indicates that it was produced by the "Baltimore Capsule Co."

The machine produces 2 different size capsules and has a filling plate that sports 4 parallel rows, each having the capacity of making 24 capsules. Also included are 2 capsule filling trays...

A Chinese banded amethyst sculpture, shaped as an egg and carved with the head of an Immortal with large pendant ears . The carving is beautifully rendered and the unusual form makes it original and desirable. In very good condition, it measures 2 3/4 inches (7.25 cm ) long and dates from the Republican period.

A Chinese jade pendant of triangular shape, with pierced and carved decoration showing a bird among foliage. It is finely and delicately executed, the stone is of pale celadon color and the cord of finely pleated silk. The tassels carry colored beads. In very good condition , it dates to the Republican period and measures 2 inches W X 1 1/2 inches high ( 5cm x 3cm)

Bhutanese colorful Bamboo Bangchung covered Food Basket, 8 3/4" diameter, 3 1/2" high include top cover, hand woven colored Bamboo, yak skin pull or handle is attached to bottom basket on the side to pull open, usually this type of baskets closes very tight to store food, leather handle on the side is helpful to open top and bottom apart. The condition is good.

Japanese Fruitwood round tray, carved from one piece of wood with high rim, Japanese Kanji writing in the center for "Good Health Prize" 11 1/2" diameter, 1 3/4" high, 1/2" thick for rim, in good beautiful condition.

Beautiful work, elegant composition in Japanese taste, delicate subtle painting. Signed SHUJI GA (painted by Shuji) followed by the red seal of the artist. Beautiful bamboo pattern paper mounts, lacquered scroll ends, in perfect condition, excellent painting for display during tea ceremony...

The size of Fubako: 11 1/2" Long x 8 9/16" Wide x 2 1/16" High. This is beautiful and classy Japanese Shunkei Lacquer Fubako (stationary box) with fine Japanse Brocade design with flower and karakusa design. Inside has lavender color velvet inside cover as well as inside bottom. The condition of Fubako excellent. It never been used. There is no warping. No scratch and wear. It has the date on the back of box Showa 54. (1979) Sept. 6th. It said as the appreciation of many long years working...

Duncan and Miller Sandwich Shakers, a pair in mint condition. The Sandwich pattern was made from 1924 to 1955. They are about 3.75" tall.
