Soft wood (probably pine) carved shore bird decoy, likely 19th century, with authentic wear including missing paint, pellet holes, and broken off beak. The work measures approximately 9 1/2" by 6" extreme dimensions, not including the wood base. The eyes appear to be metallic tacks. I am not a decoy specialist but wonder if this might be by any recognized carver. In any event, the piece is a great example of folk art Americana.

Native American love token Valentine made with glass beads, felted wool, hide trim and Baby Ruth Candy Bar box for backing. It is 8" by 6 1/2" and is a very original and folky.

Four(4) Ivory Napkin Rings, two(2) different sizes, 1 3/8" high and 1 3/4" diameter-larger ones, 1 1/8" high and 1 5/8" diameter-smaller ones. They are in good colors and condition, no damages.

An American "Home Sweet Home" type image of modest home with saying "May every day in every year bless this house with homely cheer", housed in a late 19th century walnut and gilt fillet Victorian style frame. The piece as framed measures 16" by 14". The needlework is in exceptional fresh condition. I am uncertain as to the age of it; I think, younger than the frame. A timeless classic piece for the traditional home.

Mongolian embroidered & hand stitched fabric Wall Hanging, used in the Ger, Ca. early 1900's, 75" x 42"-46" wide, stained some area but all intact.

A genuine, vintage hand embroidered and beaded Pashtun tablecloth or tray cover cloth from the early part of the 20th century. These decorative embroidered and beaded textiles were made to show off the skills of young women in contemplation of marriage and this was brought back from Afghanistan in the 1960s. It is typically brilliantly coloured and it measures 33" x 27" (that measurement includes the beaded strands, which are approximately 1/1/2" in length)...

A vintage textile in silk thread from northern Afghanistan, probably from Mazar-i-Sharif, Balkh or Tashkurghan. Circa early 20th century. These kinds of textiles were made for domestic use. The back is lined with print fabric, most likely from Ivanovo, a town northeast of Moscow. The textile depicts floral designs around three central rosettes composed of long and short stitch enclosed by linear and curvilinear borders in satin stitch. The background is a bergundy colored cotton...

Antique Persian Baluch rug, 100% hand woven wool in rust brown, light red, and indigo hues, with repeating geometric motifs throughout. These rugs are hand-knotted by the nomads of Baluch. Baluch or Baluchistan is the area between the borders of Iran, Pakistan, and Afghanistan-- this is why Baluch rugs are said to be a mixture of three different regions.

Mongolian embroidered and Hand stitched Fabric Wall Hanging, used in the Mongolian Ger, Ca. early 1900's, 28" by 19" wide, the condition is as used old look.

A 4-3/4" tall splint and sweetgrass woven Native American Northeastern embroidery or sewing thread lidded basket c1900-30. This 5" diameter Penobscot or Passamaquoddy basket retains traces of its original green and red colour and the sweetgrass still has a pleasant aroma. It is in very good condition with no cracks, losses, damage or repairs other than a small split on one thin horizontal splint on the shoulder (see enlargement 4) and the fading of the external colour...

Chinese wooden Rice Cake Mold with Lotus Seed design, Ca. 1930, 9 1/2" long, 3 3/4" wide-widest part, hand saw mark, the condition is used old worn out and patina on wood.

Chinese heavy weight wooden grain measuring bucket with black iron mounting with studded nails, 10" high, 7" square-top rim, 12" square-bottom rim, two(2) handles are positioned in different angle to hold the heavy weight grain. There are Chinese Characters written in black calligraphy style on all four(4) sides. Some iron mounting area on the bottom is rusted and left rough wooden surface.
