Hocking's Charm pattern was produced from 1950 to 1956 as part of their Fire King line of glassware. The square shape set it apart from other dinnerware lines when it was first manufactured, and makes it very popular with today's collectors. Large navy blue cotton cloth, 84" x 80 1/2", meticulously hand stitched with old Japanese folk art, sashiko stitches. It is a piece of art that began as a necessity among the farmers. Cotton stitches were added to their clothes that were made out of hemp to give it softness, warmth, and strength. Old jackets, furoshiki wrapping cloths, etc. that were adorned with interesting designs created with Sashiko stitches, are popular collector’s items today...

Here is a fantastic glass sphere made by Jaako Niemi for Nuutajarvi Nostjo in 1959. It measures 3 1/2" high and 4" in diameter. Excellent condition; no issues.

Heavy and substantial art glass vase designed by Vicke Lindstrand for Kosta. c. 1950's.

Stands app. 8 3/4" tall by 6" wide.

This Kantarelli Vase designed by Tapio Wirkkala for IIttala measures 5" high (13cm). On the underside is etched Tapio Wirkkala, IIttala. The icon of modern Finnish design. Mint condition.

This large carved ivory beauty is a 1950’s product. It depicts a young lady (quite possibly an image of a fairy) holding a flower basket in one hand and a branch of peony blossoms in the other. There is a phoenix leaning on her left side. She is almost 14 ¾” high, 3 ¼” wide and 2 ¾” thick. It is in excellent condition.

Fenton Amber Snowcrest 10" Vase was made in the mid 1950's with a spiral optic. It is in mint condition.

Chinese carved Turquoise Ornament or Tassel with Chinese Characters, and Macrame knot, 7/8" high-maximum height, and 1/2" high, 3/4" wide, 3/8" thick for carved Turquoise only, two(2) round Turquoise beads on top and bottom together, the carved turquoise pendant is before 1920's. The condition is good.

A highly attractive, hammered silver vase of rounded body rendered in parallel hammered bands and opened neck. Stamped silver mark in the bottom. Showa, c. 1950. H 17 cm, D 12.5 cm. Condition: Perfect. Natural patina.
