This belt would have been worn for festival gatherings. Decorated with beads, cowrie shells and central turquoise medallion the belt strap is narrow approx 1.25 inched wide. Hanging from the belt are beaded strands in graduated lengths with each strand ending with a cowrie shell. There is a cord tie attached so that the belt can be tied at the back of the wearer. It is a lovely piece

Being offered is a circa 1960 sterling silver tray frame by Los Ballesteros of Taxco, Mexico, handwrought tray adorned with malachite inset on the rim. Dimensions 10 1/8 inches long 7 1/8 inches wide. Marked. In excellent condition. Heavy gauge silver. Superb tray! Weight a heavy 15.2 ozs.

Two hand hammered pewter vases of the same model, of different size. Designed by Georg Nilsson and produced by the big Dutch cutlery manufacturer Gero in the Danish factory they had purchased in 1922 and where GN (trained by Georg Jensen) was the chief designer. Marked Gerotin (tin is Danish for pewter). Height "3¼/ 8 and "2¼/ 6 cm. Condition: fine.

India antique Katar punch dagger with sheath . Unique short and concealable katar with short blade and short hand grip. Somewhat sharp in good aged condition 8.5" by 3.5"

This wonderful piece is in its original frame, measuring 17" x 14". The actual carving is 10" x 7" with a scalloped edge that raises to 1/8" in height. This piece is best described by its pictures.... It is in ecxellent condition.

A fascinating letter composed by the noted Chinese artist, Xu Beihong (1895-1953). The letter is addressed to a Mr. Fu Wen and discusses about an exhibition and several works of art that Xu Beihong was expressing his congratulations to the person he was writing to. Letter signed by Xu Beihong. Age; 20th century. Size: Length 15.25" Height 12.25"

19th C Indian seed pod scent vile with silver inlay wire and very fine camel bone turned cap with applicator and silver chain. Seems to be in as made condition. Note the bone is camel not ivory (bone does not yellow as ivory does) Size 4.5" applicator length 2 ".

A woman's shawl from Waziristan dated to the early 20th century. Woven black cotton field with silk fringes, and intricate silk embroidery throughout. It measures 49 inches in width, 103.5 inches in length (124.5 cm x 262.9 cm). Condition is excellent, just some minor discolorations to be expected from a textile of this age.
