This beautiful bowl was produced by the Consolidated Glass Company as part of the Martele line. Designed by Reuben Haley, the bowl was produced in the late 1920's. The pattern is called 'Olives', though some feel they look more like plums... The bowl is listed in the Consolidated catalog as the #2746 Olive console bowl, and measures 8 inches in diameter...

Aladdin Mantle Lamp Company made the Simplicity from 1948-53. There are no chips or cracks in the glass. The lamp comes with a Model B burner. Some of the gold trim is missing from the lamp. Thanks for looking.

Bhutanese colorful Bamboo Bangchung covered Food Basket, 8 3/4" diameter, 3 1/2" high include top cover, hand woven colored Bamboo, yak skin pull or handle is attached to bottom basket on the side to pull open, usually this type of baskets closes very tight to store food, leather handle on the side is helpful to open top and bottom apart. These Aladdin Jewel Case Parisian Bronze Lamps are 14 1/2" to the top of the finial. Both have new harps. There is some color highlights on the bronze that does not show in the pictures. Most of the color has worn off. The front of the base is 6 3/4" wide and 6" deep to the back leg. The animals on the top of the jewel case appear to be dragons.

Brooch no100B (sometimes referred to as no120) is a small design with two tulips and berries. Another vintage GJ piece, this brooch is also a classic that was produced after 1945, according to the Georg Jensen mark. Georg Jensen in a circle of dots, sterling Denmark, and 100B are on the back of the pin. The pin is 1.5in (4cm) long.

A charming baluster form vase decorated with a ring of drying fish by Katsuo Seiryudo (1907-1984) in the original signed wooden box. The hirame (flat fish) are unglazed except for an iron like underglaze used to draw the details, and shiny black dots for eyes. The contrast between the unglazed fish and white ceramic is unexpected and pleasing, in that ordinarily it would be opposite...

Chinese thinly potted famille-rose enamelled vase on a lime green graviata ground with five figures in different poses surrounding. The top rim is edged in gilt. The inside and the base are glazed in turquoise blue. The base has a four character mark in iron red surrounded by a single iron red square border.

Size is 10-1/8" high by 7-7/8" diameter

Condition: The gilt edging at the top rim is worn in places and there are some frits. The enamels show some minor wear.

This beautiful chawan (tea bowl) is a Raku ware made by famous Kyuraku Kimura. It was made about 40-50 years ago. The seal of Raku is stamped on the bottom.

It comes with its originally signed and sealed wooden box and an appraisal of the Daitoku-ji Temple, Kyoto. This temple is very famous for its knowledge about chanoyu (Japanese tea ceremony). Tea ceremony items with a signature and an appraisal of the Daitoku-ji Temple have a high evaluation for collectors...

It is 34 inches (86.5 cm) in inner circumference. The beads range from 11.7 mm to 13 mm wide. It is 150 gram.
