This porcelain German Shepherd figurine was produced in Germany by Rosenthal in the 1960s. It measures 11 1/2 inches high, 7 1/2 inches long and 3 3/4 inches wide. The dog is nicely modeled with specific attention to details of the breed. His coloring is by hand. He has a very attentive demeanor, seemingly waiting for his next command. Condition: Excellent

An original French Art Deco crystal panther by I. Roubleff (1877-1970) using pate de verre technique. Mounted on a solid black marble base, this absolutely stunning sculpture is in perfect condition. The base measures 10.5" x 5". Height including base and sculpture is about 7.5" - 8" high.

An expertly hand carved dark salmon coral pin dating to the early part of the 20th century, 1920 - 1930s. Using the natural formation of the branch coral, the artist created a tree trunk with a chrysanthemum and 2 buds. In Chinese culture the chrysanthemum symbolizes long life, is one of the 4 Chinese seasonal flowers, and is often associated with nobility. In excellent condition, this rare beauty measures about 1.5" high.

Mimura Kazuhiro(b.1931) is a nerikomi (multi-colored marbled ware) specialist who has had a very successful career exhibiting throughout Japan and at juried exhibitions as well, especially at the prestigious yearly Japan Traditional Arts and Crafts Exhibition. This museum quality work dates to the late 70`s and is remarkable for the nerikomi technique on such a large form; in perfect condition at 45.7cm x 45.7cm x 7 cm. Stamped on bottom. These 4 porcelain ramekins were produced in France by Gerard, Dufraisseix and Abbot Limoges in the 1940s. The under plates have a diameter of 5 inches and the cups have a diameter of 4 inches. Vintage Japanese cylindrical form stoneware lidded mizusashi (water vessel for the tea ceremony) with horizontal ribs covered in a light creamy tan colored glaze with dripped patterning that stops short of the flat foot and recessed base. The interior and underside of the lid are coated in a glossy brown glaze. 20th century. Stands about 6 5/8" high. Very good overall condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. This piece is from a Tucson, AZ estate.

This is a rustic brushpot a farmer in rural Hubei carved this out of a tree trunk. He spotted the branch at the right and decided not to trim it Hence this pot has a handle. Its skin is old and patinated. It is a charming pot. It dates from the 19th century.

These 6 porcelain plates were produced in England by Royal Worcester in 1958. The markings on the back indicate this year of manufacture. The plates have a diameter of 10 3/4 inches. They are made of fine bone china. Each plate is hand painted with a different spray of flowers and are signed by the artist Freeman. The flowers are vibrantly, and realistically rendered. The flowers account for an area of 3 1/2 inches in diameter...

Very rare complete jacket back panel from the remote Miao Jiupang group from Jiahe County, Guizhou province (see last enlargement), with purple embroidered pattern between the spaces in the tin decoration. This style of decoration is unique to this group and very difficult to make, as every tiny bit of tin has to be individually cut and crimped. Recently acquired from a private Hong Kong collector, these are the first examples I have send of these I have seen in the past 10 years....

DESCRIPTION: An unusual netsuke featuring an abalone shell crafted from wavy burl wood with an ivory lobster perched on top. The lobster’s curled antennas are made of metal, and on the underside of the shell a signature is etched into the wood. Early to mid 20th century in very good condition. Offered is this beautiful copper wheel engraved plate in jade glass, made around 1930 by Steuben. The plate is about 8 1/2 inches wide and is in excellent condition. It is signed by Steuben, both in block letters and with the fleur-de-lis symbol.

Offered is this beautiful Dale Chihuly three-piece sea-form 'Persian' set (not sure if it is a stand-alone set or part of a bigger set). Polished pontils on very light glass. The biggest piece is 10 1/2 inches long. Except for a minor chip (see last picture), the set is in great condition. Unsigned (if it was part of a bigger set, perhaps, one piece of the set, the largest, was signed, as is/was typical of Chihuly).

A large and beautiful pink glass bowl decorated with frosted lines and circles - the bowl was made by Schneider company of France around 1930. The large blown glass bowl (has a polished pontil) is 14 inches (35,5 cm) in diameter and is in excellent condition (there are some expected faint scratches on its bottom - see picture). It is signed, 'Schneider' on its foot. A similar bowl is listed on page 374 of 'Warman's Glass', 4th edition, 2002 (shown in last picture here for your convenience).

This is a rare and beautiful console set made by Victor Durand's Vineland Glass Company, around 1925. The set consists of a large footed bowl and a pair of matched candlesticks.
