They are signed by the renowned modeler, Knud Kyhn. This rowdy pair of cubs are full of action playing. This artist was able to capture the moment in lively motion. They are hand painted in the typical Royal Copenhagen pallet of colors. Condition: Excellent first quality.

A pair of Roden (Birks) sterling 1930s napkin rings. Roden (of Toronto) was bought out by Birks in 1928. These 5/8" wide sterling napkin ring measures 1-3/4" across and they have the Roden maker's mark and STERLING. Birks bought all Roden's inventory and parts and molds, and the Roden mark can be seen on some Birks silver items until several years after. They weighs 13.0 grams and they are in excellent vintage condition with no breaks, bends, corrosion, losses, or repairs...

Superb quality work, great sense of volume to their chubby bodies, wonderful puzzled faces, crisp carving, gilding and differently colored patinas, in perfect condition. The peacock measures 15 inches long and 7 1/2 inches high. The modeling is well done, with excellent detail. The figurine is hand painted in natural colors. His pose displays his regal splendor. Each has hand-painted pictures and signs such as three kabuki "kumadori" which is special makeup of the kabuki player and Otahuku. The pattern, Argus, was produced by Fostoria from 1964-1982. We only have one available. This one is in mint condition and is 6-7/8" tall. (This pattern was issued for the Ford Museum.)

Northwood Chinese Coral Red Bowl is 9.5" across and the rim is 3-3/8" high. The interior of the bowl is ribbed. This fabulous color is a great chinese red and was made in 1924-25. The two photos show the ribbing and the outside orange color. This is caused by the reheating of the bowl. When it comes out of the mold, it's color is yellow/orange. When it is refired, it turns to the bright red color you see here. It is an opaque red glass.

A Chinese turquoise glazed vase of flattened form with elephant head side handles covered. The glaze is covered in small crackles and pools at the base. The base left unglazed except for a small section. The base is glazed with the exception of the center where it has been left bare. No markings.

Chinese double gourd vase painted in famille rose with a design of plum rose flowers against a cracked ice design in gilt. The top of the vase bordered in a light blue wave border, with the middle in lotus petals with a border base again in light blue and light aubergine. The inside glazed white...

A chinese Blanc de Chine figure of Magu with a fawn at her side looking up at her. Magu is standing on a rocky base in flowing robes holding a ewer in both hands, the fawn supporting a basket of flowers on it's back. Impressed double marks on the upper back.

The double gourd mark reads "Dehua"

The square seal reads Puji Yuren...."the vastly accomplished fisherman", and is one that was used by the potter Su Xuejin (1869-1919)...

A Chinese moon or flask vase painted in qianjiang style. One side of the vase shows a valley scene with mountains in the background with a man. There is a iron red seal and black writing at the top. The reverse side shows two swallows on a willow branch, again with a red seal and further writing. The vase is completed with a pair of qilong handles...

This porcelain figurine of a pair of falcons was produced in Germany by Karl Ens Volkstedt in the 1950s. It measures 10 1/2 inches high and 8 3/4 inches long. They are well modeled with excellent detail. See how their eyes, beaks and talons are defined. They are hand painted in natural colors. They appear to be a mated pair on the watch for prey. Two(2) pieces Chinese carved Jade Hardstone Plaques, 7 1/8" long, 1 1/8" high in the center, 3/4" high in the ends, 1/8" thick, there are some small rough spots on the edges. These pieces are made for some art object but never used them.

Sterling silver and glass jam jar. Made by Gorham in Providence, ca 1950. Jar is clear glass with horizontal lobing. Cover is silver and in form of apple half with stem. Cover hallmark includes no. 23. Nice condition.
