Small food dish for vegetables, relish etc. of round shape with small indentations in the rim. Thin, light colored stoneware, covered in cream-colored glaze with very fine crackle and pinkish brown swirls. In the bottom a highly stylized kotobuki character (longevity) in iron brown and three green glaze splashes on the rim. Glazes have left a few spots uncovered. Oribe ware, Japan, early Taisho era, 1920s.

DESCRIPTION: A set of 1940’s Mexican divided pottery platters in a chocolate brown glaze with hand painted slip decorations in cream and green. These platters are a fiesta waiting to happen with their psychedelic designs, each platter with a different pattern. Perfect for hors d'oeuvres at your next party, these platters are in very good condition. DIMENSIONS: 12.25” long x 8.75” wide.

Hewn from one piece of wood, our porcine friend leisurely resided for many years on the enclosed back porch of historic Coolmore Plantation, Taroboro, NC (see last photo of home). In very good condition, she does have some age cracks, but is very solid. Measures 21 inches long x 13" high x 12" and weights 21 lbs. Age unknown so we are listing as vintage.

Women’s jacket from the Dong minority in Longsheng Terraces, Guangxi Zhuang, China. The black outer cloth is commercial denim, the lining is handmade indigo cotton with a beautiful purple hand embroidered panels on the back and upper sleeves. Some damage (please examine enlargements) but repairable or very wearable as is. Chest width 50cm/19.5in, total end to end arm length 153cm/61in and shoulder to bottom height 72cm/28.3in...

Offered is a nice example of a Pharmacist tool of the trade. Dating from the 1940s to 1950s, this pharmacy pill tile is constructed of durable glass and sports a numerical cutting scale to accurately determine the dosage of compounded medicines.

From the GLASCO Glass Company, this pill tile is in nice condition, with 2 edge dings and various faint glass scratches acquired as a result of use, resulting in a fine, vintage patina.

Offered here is an eye-catching vessel by Ingrid Atterberg for Upsala-Ekeby, Sweden. It measures 4 3/4" (12cm) and is 5" (12.5cm) in diameter. On the underside is incised UE, Abg, the number 2028, and Sweden. Mint condition.

American Lenox Porcelain gold band Coffee Pot, retailed by "Tiffany & Co." 11" high include top, 7" wide include handle and spout, 1930, top rim is decorated interesting etched gold lines. Marked with green "Lenox, Tiffany & Co.", and "X 1367/F51" in gold on the bottom. The condition is good, no damages.

DESCRIPTION: A handsome ikebana basket, Meiji Period, crafted of smoked bamboo in a diagonal weave with double wrapped handle. Three vertical bamboo strips reinforce two corners, and the basket rests on a square, open weave base. Excellent condition with no breaks or losses. Ikebana ("living flowers") is the Japanese art of flower arrangement. It is also known as Kado ("way of flowers")...

Lovely sterling silver keepsake box. Rectangular with straight sides. Cover hinged and tabbed. Cover top has engraved border with dense and overlapping flowers and leaves. Stained-wood bottom, lining, and partition. Cover interior has rectangular tablet (vacant). Hallmarked “sterling silver”. Very good condition.

DESCRIPTION: A sturdy wooden champagne grape box or crate used in French vineyards at harvest time. This one has touches of red paint, “GHM MA CHAMPAGNE” stenciled on both sides and handholds notched into the slats at the top. These boxes enhance a country provincial decorating style while functioning as split log holders for the fireplace or the perfect place to toss your wet or snowy boots in winter. Hand painted Portuguese Ceramic Bird's Head Soap Dish and Towel Hanger, all in one, 11" high, 6 1/2" wide, 4" deep, oval shape well for soap above bird's head, hang towel around bird's neck, very interesting piece of decorative item in the powder room. It is in good condition.

Here is a hard-to-find bakelite fruit knife set from Germany in the original box. Unused condition.

Here is a charming miniature vase by Sven Jonson, as part of the celebrated Argenta series of objects produced by Gustavsberg, Sweden. It measures 2 1/4" (5.5cm) high. The stylized fish decoration is stunning, with no silver loss. Mint condition.

Here is a lovely small tray in an exquisite blue and brown glaze by Wilhelm Kage for Gustavsberg, Sweden. It measures 1 1/4" (3cm) high and is 5 1/2" (14cm) in diameter. On the understand Farsta is impressed on each of the four feet, Gustavsberg, Kage, the Gustavsberg Studio hand insignia, Studio, and the date code Y. This piece was created in 1954. The name Hjelmberg is also etched. Mint condition.

The Rose Point Etching was produced from 1932-54 by Cambridge. This 5 oz. Juice Tumbler is in mint condition. 2 are available. (stem style #3121)
