Superb quality work, great sense of volume to their chubby bodies, wonderful puzzled faces, crisp carving, gilding and differently colored patinas, in perfect condition. A 7 ½ inch diameter gold Aurene vase by Steuben. The vase is shape 354 and is properly marked “Aurene 354" around the polished pontil. The vase has a flared out scalloped rim and stands 4 ½ inches tall. The vase is perfect.

This porcelain figurine was produced in Denmark by Bing & Grondahl between 1948 and 1951. The base is impressed with the signature of the renowned artist, Dahl Jensen. It has a model number, 1628. The peacock measures 15 inches long and 7 1/2 inches high. The modeling is well done, with excellent detail. The figurine is hand painted in natural colors. His pose displays his regal splendor. Condition: Excellent, first quality.
