Pilgrim's coat made of asa (hemp) with hand-written Buddhist sutra. It also has stampted Zao Gongen who is a main image of the Kinpusen-ji temple and Ominesan-ji temple. It has many red stamps of holy places where the pilgrim had visited such as Ominesan-ji, Kinpusen-ji, Zaodo etc. which are located between Wakayama and Nara prefecture where "shugen-sha ( holy man )" has been practicing Shugendo. The area was designated as "World Heritage". The first half of the 20th century...

The EAPG pattern shows three large oval hobstars and decorative fans around the body of the jar. A small "garlic necked" vase attractively painted with fencai enamels in 18th Century style depicting mountains and pavillions in a river landscape. The base carries a four character iron red hall mark. This item was probably made circa 1920 - 1940 during the Republic period. Condition - there is a tiny chip to the rim with associated 2cm hairline. No further damages and no restoration...

This masterful rendition of an idilic landscape done in the Nanga style of Chinese painting is spread across three canvases titled 1) “Arashiyama” (A district nestled at the foot of Kyoto’s eastern mountain range), 2) “Kyomizu-dera” (One of Kyoto’s most iconic temples located in the western foothills), and 3) “Tatsuta” (An area west of Kyoto on the edge of Lake Biwa, known for its expansive fields of lotus flowers)...

A set of 12 gorgeous Art Deco sterling silver coffee spoons decorated on both sides with guilloche enamels. Each spoon is worked in a different shade of translucent enamel over an engraved background. The spoons are presented in their original velvet-lined box. Each spoon is hallmarked for the Watson Co.

Origin: America, circa 1935. Condition: excellent, the dark purple spoon has a 1/16" flake to the enamel at one edge, the box shows normal wear appropriate to the age. Size: 4-1/4" long.

A Substantial Sterling Silver Bread Tray by International Silver (mark is slightly rubbed). In the Danish Style, similar to the Work by Georg Jensen. Monogram (CHM) on edge. Dimensions; 12.75" long x 8" deep x 1.5" high; weight 18.3 Troy ounces. Some minor surface scratches, but in excellent condition. Circa, 1930's.
