This is an antique Chinese ink painting of young bamboo in fan form on silk done in shades of black ink with 3 seals in red. This is a lovely rendering, with subtle brush work as well as decisive strong definition.

Very unusual hand blown and hand painted satin glass vase or rose bowl. This rose bowl is made from cased glass with pale green on the outside and royal blue on the inside. Possibly an early Fenton piece, it is in very good antique condition showing some wear to the gold gilt edging. Feels fantastically smooth the touch and a must have for the collector. Measures 4.5 inches high. Dates circa 1920-30.

A fascinating manipulation of fired on patination to the copper or bronze, shouldered vase. A rich, earthy copper red fired on patina is on the interior and on the exterior serving as background to irregular streams, inlets and pools of dappled verdigris among, and picked out by, (seemingly) flames of speckled gold fading into the background color. We included one picture with filtered sunlight to better pick out the colors...

Vase by Danish manufacturer Hjorth, c 1920-30. Grey stoneware, decoration of Art Déco scroll work in “flow” copper red under beautifully crackled glaze. Probably by Hans Hjorth. The Hjorth Terracotta Factory, now part of the Bornholm museum, is still working in the same premises where it was founded in the 19th century, still using the same equipment. Impressed deer mark (Hjorth is Danish for deer). Height "5¼/ 13 cm. Condition: fine

This footed bowl is from Gunnar Nylund's early years with Bing and Gröndahl. It was created between 1926 and 1928. It measures 4¼" (11cm) high and is 4½" (11.5cm) in diameter. A circa 1920's wood cut out picture, "Jack and Jill", 14" by 22" including frame, said to be "...a kit that had to be put together and then painted 'sometime in the 1920's", according to a small paper strip on backing.
