The Cube, or Cubist, pattern was made by Jeannette Glass Company from 1929 to 1933. It's often confused with Fostoria's American pattern and for good reason: both were designed by the same man. Traditional sterling silver water pitcher. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York, ca 1938. Gently curved body with helmet mouth, high-looping handle, and round and stepped foot. Ample with nice heft. Holds 4 1/2 pints. Fully marked including maker’s stamp, pattern no. 22625 (first produced in 1938), director’s letter m (1907-47), and volume. Very good condition.

A very sensitively carved Madonna and Child made in the South Tyrol region of northern Italy, probably during the 1920s.

Studied at the Tokyo school of Fine Arts, where he graduated at the Oil Painting Section in 1938. While still there he attended Un'ichi Hiratsuka's extracurricular woodblock printing course, and in the same year he became quality controller at the Takamizawa Woodblock Print Company. He was conscripted into the army in 1943. In 1945 he had lost his house, his atelier and nearly all his early works...

This is attributed to Wu Changshuo calligraphy style and signed as his work, can't confirm as his handwriting and calligraphy, it is old to me, please consult expert before ordering, we are no expert in this area but it looks good to decorate as it has the elegance. Quite badly damaged.

This pair of French Club chairs have the lovely gendarme back , This style is named after the French Policemans chapeau(hat) and of course Napoleons as well. All original leather in excellent condition overall. The sit is neither firm nor soft, it's kinda just perfect. These were purchased from a private home in the beautiful city of Grenoble. Here is a fantastic glass sphere made by Jaako Niemi for Nuutajarvi Nostjo in 1959. It measures 3 1/2" high and 4" in diameter. Excellent condition; no issues.
Japanese glass ojime in a form of tombodama bead with black body and of numerous white flowers and beautiful ribbed leaves. Tombodama can be translated as “dragonfly ball” and the name is thought to come about because when the molten glass is applied to the core bead it resembles a dragonfly’s eye. Superbly made piece - see finely textured petals and yellow centers of the flowers and fine structures of the leaves, in perfect condition. Height 0.6 inches.
A small Yixing zisha ('purple clay') teapot with enameled decoration depicting prunus blossom on one side and a dragonfly amongst lotus flowers on the other. The base carries the name Meng Chen. This item was probably made, circa 1920 - 1940, during the Republic period. Condition - very good - no damages and no restoration...
This pieces sparkles! Designed by Ermanno Toso this cylindrical decanter is made with twisted pink canes and aventurine filigree. Matching stopper with clear glass flange and stem. Stopper does have burst bubble which occurred during manufacture. Decanter stands just over 18 inches (46 cm) Tall, and has no chips, cracks or repairs. Retains the blue and silver foil export label used by Fratelli Toso. Identical piece is shown in Leslie Pina's book Fratelli Toso, page 23. Excellent condition...
