This mid 20th century Chinese carved ivory doctor's lady is 15" long, 3" high and 2" thick. The fitted hard wood base is 16 1/8" long, 1 1/4" high and 3" wide. Her left hand is holding a flower and is resting on the side of her body. Her right hand is held behind her head. She wears loose bracelets on both wrists and “lotus” shoes on her feet. There is a dark line (the center of the tusk) running along the back of her left leg...

From our Indian Subcontinent Collection, a large and fine vintage Pakistani Bokhara rug using extra fine wool and silk in classic Tekke Gul design, handwoven on a vertical loom with cotton base, using a combination of natural mineral pigments and synthetic dyes in brown, black, taupe, cream, and pale green. Whilst Bokhara rugs are often perceived as utilitarian in nature and not seen as art objects by their makers, this particular rug is of such good quality that the maker decided to sign it...

Nice bar accessory for the cocktail buff, this bone handled sterling silver measuring jigger was made by the New York firm John Hasselbring, early 20th century, makers mark, Sterling and Style No. 40 stamped on jigger, and silver base stamped Sterling. Measurements: 5 1/2"L x 2" H; Jigger measures 1 3/4" H. Handle width-1"; Condition is very good vintage with minor pin dots inside jigger. Repair to knob that attaches handle to back of jigger.

The calligraphy states that it was composed on the occasion of a 1978 memorial ceremony to Kim Koo (1876 - 1949), the leader of the independence movement during Japan's occupation of Korea. The ceremony was at Baek Beom Sa Buddhist temple...

One of the rarest colors ever on an American Standard Stratocaster "Razz Berry", which made its only appearance in the Oct 1 88 price list, and was dropped by the time the '89 price list was printed. Also noteworthy, this finish wasn't available on the American Standard Strat, only the "Plus" model, but was fairly common on the HM Strat from this era.
