Fausto Zonaro, Italian, 1854-1929. This small jewel is 6" by 8 1/2" . It is oil on board in a newer goldleaf frame. This is a charming landscape depicting children with animals. Zonaro was known for painting genre portraits, landscapes, and farms. His paintings go for $1,280 up to $13,500. He is listed in Benezit. An Italian he lived in Constantinople and painted for the Sultan. He showed in Milan, Rome, Tunis and Venice and his works are in Museums. He has extensive auctions records and has painted both in Italy and Istanbul.
His paintings sell for up to $30,000.

Lauber, Joseph, 1855-1948, New York. This oil on board is an impressionist style painting of a Woman in a flower Garden with Fruit Trees. It is 5" by 7" in a 2" period frame There is a Salgamundi Club label on the back. Lauber worked for Tiffany Studios and was known for his stained glass windows. He is listed in Who was Who in American Art, Fieldings, Mallett and was a student of Karl Muller, Chase, Shirlaw and LaFarge.
