Elegant and rare Ouji celadon chawan by master potter, Ono Kotaro. The interior is carved with a wispy and lyrical floral decoration and the exterior has lotus blossom leaves surrounding the base, around the footring. The Ouji glaze is a very pretty but subtle yellow celadon in person.

This chawan measure 14 x 7cm and is in perfect condition with its original signed box.

This large, textured and incised Iga wood fired vessel is by multi-talented artist, Ohira Kazumasa (b.1943). This vase measures 15" tall and 7" at its widest and is in original condition with heavy texturing along the sides and incised decoration and ginirodori style overglaze on either side of the piece. The piece comes with its original signed wood box and was made for an exhibition in the late 1990's.

Serene and noble seihakuji koro by veteran and master potter Kishimoto Kennin. Large feudal style Shigaraki mizusashi by veteran potter; Ogawa Seiho. Fired in an anagama, there is rich ash deposits and hi-iro around the pot. This mizusashi is timeless with vintage style tsuchi-aji, clay flavor making for a wonderful and contemplative keshiki landscape.

The mizusashi measures 25 x 16 cm. and is in excellent original condition and comes with a custom made roiro black lacquer lid and its original signed box.

Classic and Momoyama inspired chaire in Oni-Shino style with a wide array of textures, varied coloration and a simple reed/pampas grass decoration carved through an iron-rich slip under a thick feldspathic glaze. The use of varying thicknesses of the Shino glaze not only accentuates the form but creates a moody and atmospheric appearance like mist clinging to a lakes edge. Exceptional stoneware vase that was subtly and expertly faceted, glazed in a rich nuka style glaze and decorated in Tale of Genji inspired partridges in platinum lustre. The presence and volume of the pot are hard to put in to perspective with the dimensions, 12" x 8.5" and a guinomi has been placed in the last photo to give a sense of the scale.
