An exuberant sterling pin with a naturalistic design by Felipe Martinez who opened his workshop "Piedra Y Plata" in 1955. The highly polished, smooth amethyst flowers seem to be bursting out of the leaves which are going in all directions.This pin, c.1955, is featured on page 186 of the Morrill book MEXICAN SILVER, however, the pin in the book has green stones rather than amethyst. This is a lovely sterling and center amethyst straight line bracelet by Felipe Martinez who called his workshop Piedra Y Plata. His workshop was recognized by his peers as one of the best silver shops in Taxco. He had a great appreciation for stones and made beautiful designs combining color, movement and line. This bracelet measures 7" around in the inside and is 3/8" wide. Excellent original condition and signed as shown. This bracelet is a testament to his artistry.

Large, left hand bone cuff bracelet designed by Elsa Peretti for Tiffany & Co. Measuring 3 3/4" long, it is 4 1/2" around in the inside with a 1 1/2" opening so for a 6" or so wrist and again, this bracelet can only be worn on the left hand as the bump fits over the wrist bone. The cuff is in fine original condition and weighs 126 grams. It comes in its' original Tiffany & Co. blue felt drawstring bag. Signed Peretti Tiffany & Co. Sterling Spain. A beautiful mid-century modern bronze pendant with a center agate by Pentii Sarpaneva, Finland. We do not see many pieces of Finnish jewelry in the U.S. and this one is wonderful. The pendant, including the bail measures 4" long and 2" wide at the widest point. The bronze chain is original to the pendant and measures 24" end to end. This piece is in fine original condition and signed P. Sarpaneva Finland Bronze. A rare and beautiful pendant.

Great looking sterling square link bracelet designed by Pekka Piekainen for the Finnish manufacturer Auran Kultaseppa. The links all move and are hinged with smaller links inside. It has a simple hook closure which is invisible and makes the bracelet look continuous when on the wrist. Measuring 6 3/4" around in the inside, it is 7/8" wide and weighs 68 grams. A rare and spectacular handwrought sterling repousse cuff by silversmith Peer Smed. He was trained in Denmark, came to the U.S. and worked for Tiffany & Co., then later opened his own shop in New York. The workmanship of this bracelet is superb.The flower and leaves look alive. Navajo Mark Chee (1914-1981) who was active from the 30's to the 60's, is known for traditional stamp work in thick, heavy silver. This beautiful pair of cuffs is a wonderful example of his expertise with the stamping on each cuff being slightly different.
