An exuberant sterling pin with a naturalistic design by Felipe Martinez who opened his workshop "Piedra Y Plata" in 1955. The highly polished, smooth amethyst flowers seem to be bursting out of the leaves which are going in all directions.This pin, c.1955, is featured on page 186 of the Morrill book MEXICAN SILVER, however, the pin in the book has green stones rather than amethyst. The pin measures 2 6/8" by 2 1/8" and is in beautiful original condition...

This is a lovely sterling and center amethyst straight line bracelet by Felipe Martinez who called his workshop Piedra Y Plata. His workshop was recognized by his peers as one of the best silver shops in Taxco. He had a great appreciation for stones and made beautiful designs combining color, movement and line. This bracelet measures 7" around in the inside and is 3/8" wide. Excellent original condition and signed as shown. This bracelet is a testament to his artistry.

Large, left hand bone cuff bracelet designed by Elsa Peretti for Tiffany & Co. Measuring 3 3/4" long, it is 4 1/2" around in the inside with a 1 1/2" opening so for a 6" or so wrist and again, this bracelet can only be worn on the left hand as the bump fits over the wrist bone. The cuff is in fine original condition and weighs 126 grams. It comes in its' original Tiffany & Co. blue felt drawstring bag. Signed Peretti Tiffany & Co. Sterling Spain. Bold, beautiful and a fabulous design.

A beautiful mid-century modern bronze pendant with a center agate by Pentii Sarpaneva, Finland. We do not see many pieces of Finnish jewelry in the U.S. and this one is wonderful. The pendant, including the bail measures 4" long and 2" wide at the widest point. The bronze chain is original to the pendant and measures 24" end to end. This piece is in fine original condition and signed P. Sarpaneva Finland Bronze. A rare and beautiful pendant.

Great looking sterling square link bracelet designed by Pekka Piekainen for the Finnish manufacturer Auran Kultaseppa. The links all move and are hinged with smaller links inside. It has a simple hook closure which is invisible and makes the bracelet look continuous when on the wrist. Measuring 6 3/4" around in the inside, it is 7/8" wide and weighs 68 grams. Fine original condition and signed as shown. A rare and stunning bracelet.

A rare and spectacular handwrought sterling repousse cuff by silversmith Peer Smed. He was trained in Denmark, came to the U.S. and worked for Tiffany & Co., then later opened his own shop in New York. The workmanship of this bracelet is superb.The flower and leaves look alive. His pieces are hard to find and this is the first bracelet made by Smed that I have ever seen. Measuring 5 1/4" around in the inside with a 1" opening, it is 1 1/8" wide in the front and tapers to 1/2" in the back...

A fabulous sterling ring featuring a large center sugarloaf moonstone set in a wide oval mount designed by Paloma Picasso for Tiffany & Co. This ring is a size 6 and the stone sits a full inch above the finger. The setting is also 1" wide. Beautiful stone, free of chips or cracks.Signed as shown. An exceptional bold geometric cast sterling bracelet with stones of turquoise and coral by Pala Mission/Cherokee Larry Golsh. Active since the 1970's, this piece is from that period. His inspiration by the work of Charles Loloma is evident in this bracelet. Measuring 5 3/4" around in the inside plus an additional 1 1/4" opening, it is 2 1/8" wide in the inside and tapers to 1" at the terminals. Navajo Mark Chee (1914-1981) who was active from the 30's to the 60's, is known for traditional stamp work in thick, heavy silver. This beautiful pair of cuffs is a wonderful example of his expertise with the stamping on each cuff being slightly different. Each cuff measures 4 3/4" around in the inside plus an additional 1 1/4" opening, so for a small wrist. They are each 3/8" wide and their total weight is 86 grams. A rare and exquisite pair of sterling, amethyst and pearl bracelets by Mexican silversmith Carmen Beckmann. Beckmann had a shop in San Miguel deAllende and was active in the 1960's and 1970's. The composition of these bracelets is sophisticated and the work of a highly skilled artist. The rectangles with amethyst and pearl are strung on 2 rows of silver chain alternating between silver circle slides. The pieces all move and end with an invisible push in clasp...

Very strong, outstanding design in this mid-century sterling pin by Taxco artist Sigi Pineda. Many design elements of shapes and overlapping planes, this three dimensional pin measures 1 3/4" by 1 7/8". It is in fine original condition and hallmarked for vintage Sigi as shown in the photo. This piece is the kind of design for which Sigi is best known.

Gorgeous, old, long Dishta or Dishta style sterling screw back earrings with 3 tiers of turquoise channel inlay, ground flush and composed of tiny circles and tear drops and 7 diamond shaped sterling paddles dangling from the earring bottoms. These hang 2 5/8" long and are 3/4" wide at the widest point. They weigh 13 grams total and are in fine original condition. They are unsigned. Delicate, precise, remarkable.
