A colossal and magnificent sterling and multi stone ring by Arizona Modernist H. Fred Skaggs(1929-82). Large central stone of quartz is surrounded by polished , irregular shaped pink tourmaline, smokey topaz, rose quartz, citrine and aquamarine. Arizona Modernist H. Fred Skaggs was the mentor of Hopi silversmith Charles Loloma and this sterling and lapis ring surely has the design elements and impeccable craftsmanship that influenced Loloma . This ring is a size 7 and the face measures 7/8 " by 7/8". It is in fine original condition. There are no chips or cracks to the beautiful lapis stone. Signed as shown. The absolute best bracelet by Arizona Modernist H. Fred Skaggs that I have ever seen! Shirtcuff design sterling cuff with polished free form shaped stones of amber, amethyst, topaz, aquamarine and peridot along one side and an oxidized sterling wire wrapped panel on the other side. AND.... a surprise bezel set peridot in the inside of one end of the bracelet that is visible when on the wrist since the opening of this piece is worn on the side...

A beautiful sterling cuff bracelet c. 1950 by Arizona Modernist H. Fred Skaggs featuring a very complex and elaborate pattern of silver applique. The bracelet measures 6 1/2" end to end with an opening that can be made to accommodate either a smaller or larger wrist. The width varies from 2" to 1 1/2" and the weight is 98 grams. It has a wonderful patina that really accentuates the wire work. Fine original condition and signed as shown. Looks like a French cuff on the wrist. Just fabulous!!

Absolutely stunning French cuff design bracelet in sterling with blue stones by Arizona Modernist H. Fred Skaggs. One side of the bracelet has gorgeous cobalt blue highly polished stones and the other side is a large oxidized panel surrounded by silver dots which also continue around the blue stones. I do not know what the blue stones are and it is possible they may just be glass but I have not had them tested...

An awesome handmade sterling cuff with a huge amber chunk by Arizona Modernist H. Fred Skaggs. This is a massive, bold cuff with a side opening which makes a great look. The central focus of the cuff is the applied setting housing the stone. Measuring 1 7/8" wide, it is 6 3/4" around in the inside and has a 1 3/8" opening. In fine original condition, it weighs 130 grams. This bracelet is 3 dimensional and looks different and interesting from every angle.Signed as shown...
