A superb three dimensional sterling and amethyst hinged cuff by Taxco silversmith Margot De Taxco. A bracelet in constant motion with curling and swirling forms edged in silver beading and 8 teardrop shaped cabachon amethysts budding forth from silver stems. It is exquisite in every way and a Margot piece that I have never seen before. It is 3 3/4" long in the front and 7" around in the inside. A terrific abstract mid-century modern sterling bracelet by Taxco silversmith Sigi Pineda. It is hinged in the back and pulls open in the front at the horizontal lines, most ingenious! The bezel set aventurine stone is a nice touch. These are the kind of designs for which Sigi is most celebrated.
