A lovely little book written by Booth Tarkington and with colored illustrations by Ruth Sypherd Clements. The red linen boards feature a blind stamped holly design and gilt lettering. Published by Harper & Brothers 1909. Copyright page indicates October 1909 (unstated first edition). The illustrations are crisp and the booth is in fine condition. An old price noted in pencil on the free paper.

A stated first edition published in 1932 by Doubleday Doran & Co. Black cloth boards with gilt lettering. There is a faint smudge on page 11, the textblock has some darkening especially at the lower corner, the back board shows some fading, and there is a small notation in pencil on the back free paper - otherwise the book is in fine condition. No dust jacket. 314pp.

Published by Rizzoli in 2001, this oversized coffee table book features many colored photos along with a history of the pearl. In mint condition, a former price is noted in pencil on a free paper. Possibly a first American edition. 223pp.

An early 20thC iridescent MOP carving with stand. There are no cracks but the back near the stand has a very small nick that does not show through the front. Unsigned. 5-1/2" x 5-1/2"

A typed treatise on the Vietnam War by noted historian, George McTurnan Kahin(1918-2000).This facsimilie document is dated March 28, 1969, with supporting documents that include an article by Peter Arnett, the AP correspondent in Saigon, a Congressional record document(11/19/69)related to Vietnam, "Politics in South Vietnam" by Jerry Silverman an associate professor at McMaster U. in Canada,a rebuttal to Pres. Nixon's April 30th speech, chronology,etc.Stapled. 22pp

An impressive pair of colorful red enamel cufflinks with gold metallic-like highlights marked Destino . The white enamel on the right cufflink looks a bit off but I doubt these have ever been worn. Original Saks Fifth Avenue Box.

A flamenco-style fan purchased in Spain during the 70's that has flowers painted on the mother of pearl sticks and black lace. The brass etched handle is a bit bent.

Washington Irving. "Revised Edition Complete in One Volume." Published in 1887 by G.P. Putnam's Sons New York. The front features a gilt design on the black leather boards. This is a nice tight edition and smaller book that measures 4.25" x 6.50".

An older, unmarked silver filigree belt that measures 30" x 3/8" including hook clasp. Probably 800 silver.

Unstated first edition published in 1920 by Harcourt, Brace and Company. Green boards with red lettering. The text block is uncut and there is a name written in ink on the front inside board. Otherwise a nice tight copy.

Ca 1920 A hand hammered oblong sterling napkin ring with no monogram. Marked International Sterling 194 along with a W (for Watson). 2-7/8" x 3/4" ~ 21.3 grams.

Here is a rare collection of menus for six days(Sunday-Friday) on the SS Paris French line. Thursday and Friday have minor smudging on the back but this lot is basically in pristine condition.

An art glass vase by Swedish designer, Kjell Englaman.There is a Kosta Boda label and the piece is signed along with a production number 49111. It measures approximately 7-5/8" x 6" and weighs 2.9lbs.

A colorized print stamped Karl Bohme Munchen in the lower left corner along with a printers mark. Not examined out of the original frame. The frame measures 14-1/2" x 18"; the print , 9"x12".

Ca 1960 A pierced sterling malachite and gold tumi that may be worn as a pendant or brooch. The tumi tests 18k, and it is marked 925 on the bale. The malachite has a few flea bites but they're only evident with magnification and bright light. 1-1/8" square.Weight 10.5grams.

Published in 2014, this is a page proof facsimile preview of the finalized book written by Sufi teacher, Sherif Baba. A cloth bound edition in excellent condition (with the exception of a few front pages rippled at the bottom), the book includes a series of transcriptions of an event at which Sherif discusses in depth the most important aspects of Sufism, i.e. Basmala. 478pp.

A hardcover published in 1994 that highlights holloware, jewelry and cutlery exhibited at the Kolding Museum. There are B&W photos along with an extensive appendix noting the pieces, dimensions,etc.along with a chronology. The cover shows very light wear with minor creasing at the top of the back spine - the book itself is in excellent condition. Written in Danish and German. 231pp.

A pen and ink print signed W.V.V.T in the lower right corner. There is a small white spot in the right area (see photos) and dark spot above that... there is also rippling in the upper left corner-- the paper may have been pasted to a background but we have not examined it out of the frame. 12" x 16"

An eight coin bracelet that features seven Ethiopian coins and a five (5) corona coin, Franz Joseph IV Kaiser Schiede Munze 1858. The 1 Ghersh Ethiopian coins have Menelik II on one side side and the lion of Judah with flag on the other. The Austrian coin is the center coin. The coins show signs of wear appropriate for age.

Purchased in Peru during the 70's, an ornate filigree chain that measures 68". No clasp.

Ca 1950 A wide copper cuff signed Renoir. It measures 2-7/8" in width and the inner diameter is 2" with a bit of give to open.

Ca 1970 A sophisticated gold filled necklace with black glass balls marked 1/20 14kGF on the clasp. 18-1/4" x 1/2. Weight 26 grams.

A wonderful etched bakelite box that simulates wood. There are scenes on all sides, top and bottom. Stamped on the bottom. Unfortunately, the piece is mottled with stains and a gentle wiping removed some ink. The lid is actually darker than previous pictures ( see last photo). Price is reduced + sold as is. Measures 5" x 3-1/2" x 2-1/2"

Tan paper cover featuring a red and black pictorial design. The front and back covers have small tears, smudges and have separated. The pages are uncut and one or two have small tears. Acceptable condition with no script.121 pp.

First edition/first printing with "A" noted along with the Scribner seal.The pages have toning, there is a name inscribed on the front free paper and also a note in pencil on the back paste down. The jacket has small tears, and some paper loss along the edges 602pp.

A three piece carving set with stag horn handles. The blade has light wear and is marked accordingly. The red shagreen box's satin insert has some brown staining.

A contemporary bangle with citrine, peridot,amethyst and moonstone cabs accented by raised leaves and textured background. Marked 925, the bracelet is somewhat adjustable.

A folio with six vibrant Italian scenes. The prints measure 12" x 15; the oversized envelope is curled at the corners and shows light wear (the prints are fine). Marked Don Art Co., New York along with a serial number for each print. Printed in Holland.
