An original Japanese color woodblock print by the artist Katsushika Hokusai (1760-1849). He produced around 1800 many surimono (prints made for special occasions) for kyoka poetry. Signed "Hokusai ga". Condition: good impression, faded, soiled and creased, laid down at upper corners. Dimension: 12.9 cm x 27.2 cm.

An original Japanese color woodblock print in oban size by the artist Kitagawa Utamaro (1754-1806), from the series "Yoshiwara Niwaka", published around 1795 by Tsutaya Juzaburo. Depicting seven women preparing to carry a portable Shinto shrine ("mikoshi"). Condition: very good impression, colors good, little rubbed and soiled, two corners with few creases, laid down at upper corners in folder. Dimension: 32.8 cm x 22.8 cm.

A small midnight blue silk panel, maybe a former sleeve band, brocaded with gold threads in two different tones. Decorated with phoenixes, four-clawed dragons, an auspicious Chinese character, bats and waves. Bordered with silk and backed with cotton fabric. Condition: partial little wear and stained area. Dimension: total: 67.5 cm x 26.8 cm.

Circular porcelain plaque, dating to the late Qing period. The center painted in the Qianjiang Palette with temples and people in a mountainous river landscape. The border decorated in green, iron red and gold with birds. Condition: no repairs and cracks - little wear and impurities, rim frittings and flakes, base with few adhering kiln grit. Dimension: diameter: 29.8 cm, 1.3 cm thick.

A beautiful 19th century miniature armor with storage box, made for a gogatsu ningyo doll to display on the Boy's day. Made of black lacquered papier-mache, partial with gilt relief decoration of waves, bound together with brown cord ties. Few parts as the maedate made of metal, the fabric is a Japanese brocade. Condition: traces of usage, wear, small chips and few cracks. The menpo is a bit squashed and has losses, one fukigaeshi is buckled. Dimension: yoroi: 30 cm x 16 cm.

And a later tea strainer in basket form decorated with a dragon. Unmarked, tested silver. Condition: tea strainer with some small dents.
