A very unusual and rare red agate oval Pyu seal. The white band on the surface of the stone has been skillfully carved down to the next red layer with a sacred bull. The red in the stone is more of a ruby red than an orangery red. When looking sideways at the stone at a certain angle, you can see the crystal clear band sandwiched in between two red bands which is natural to the stone...

A nice colored ancient carnelian necklace found in Southeast Asia. Many of these carnelian beads were probably from India and traded around 3000 years ago to mainland Southeast Asia. Size: L. 66cm.

A green jade earring made some 3,200 years ago from people living around the Ma and Red Rivers in northern Vietnam. Can be worn as a pendant. Size: L.4.4cm. W. 3.5cm. Condition: No repairs or cracks. The indents are the natural contours of the stone.

Pyu seal which looks like it was carved from ivory. The design seems to be of a floral pot which is often seen in Pyu art. There is a hole drilled in the back and was most likely worn by the owner. Size: 1.8cm x 1cm. Condition: No repairs. Nice patina typical of old buried ivory or bone.

Votive tablet of Buddha in the earth touching position. Can be made into an amulet Age: Early nineteenth century. Size: H. 6.8cm. W. 3cm. Condition:No repairs.

Two well carved Pyu stone elephants. These are a type of micro carvings that the Pyu period is noted for. There are holes drilled in both of the elephants for stringing. Condition: No repairs or chips. Some dirt still adhering to them that can be removed by soaking.

A well formed silver Buddha wrapped around an earthen core in the earth touching gesture. Size: H. 12.6cm. Width at the base. 6cm. Condition: the finial is missing. No repairs.

A relief molded lacquered alms tripod stand with three mythical nagas. Age: Late 19th century. Size: W. 23cm. H. 12.5cm. Condition: No repairs.

A 19th century "Yun" lacquered betel box with incised design of a horse and rider and dancing girls. The box is divided into three pieces. The bottom part for betel leaves and the top part for lime, areca nuts, clove and other ingredients. Size: H. 10.3cm. Diameter:18.5cm. Condition: No repairs. Small chip on inner rim and some minor age cracks.

A nice example of a "yun" lacquered chest with a scene of a prince on a horse and a dancer. Size: L.24cm. W. 16.5cm. H. 10cm. Small age crack on the bottom left corner of the lid. See photo five.

A pair of translucent pale blue-green glass earrings. The glass is in the form of a medium-thick oval hoop that tapers at the ends. Can be made into a necklace. There is some soil encrustation on the surface from being buried.
