This porcelain dish was produced in France in the late 19th century by William Guerin Limoges. The porcelain dish was sold white wear to a studio decorator. It is signed by the artist. The dish measures 11 inches long, 6 3/4 inches wide and 1 1/2 inches deep. The porcelain has molded decoration and a flower form handle. The painting is beautifully done. The roses have delicate shades of pink on a green ground that shades from light to darker green. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain ink well with tray was produced in Germany by Nymphenburg in the late 19th century. There is an impressed Nymphenburg shield mark on the bottom of the tray. The tray measures 8 3/4 inches long and 6 3/4 inches wide. The ink wells are attached to the tray but have separate lids and inserts. The tray is hand painted with vividly colored flowers and little sprigs. This decoration is also used on the lids and ink wells. There are several areas with gilded accents and there is gold trim on the rims. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain basket was produced in France by Pouyat Limoges around 1900. It was made especially for Wanamaker’s Department Store. The basket measures 9 1/4 inches long, 4 3/4 inches wide and 4 inches high including the handle. The rim of the basket is frilly and scalloped with high relief molding as does the handle. The inside of the basket has a transfer decoration. There are garlands of tiny flowers and pink roses. The rim of the basket has sponged gold trim. The handle is trimmed with heavy gold. Condition: But for a few specks of gold wear on high points, this basket is in excellent condition.

This porcelain basket was produced in Tettau, Bavaria by Royal Bayreuth in the 1890s. It measures 5 1/4 inches high and 3 3/4 inches wide. The exterior of the basket has a molded tapestry texture. It is decorated with a transfer design of roses in various colors. The handle and base are reticulated. A “pearl-like” finish is used in these areas. R.S. Prussia used similar finishes on their wares. There are gold trim and gilded accents on the handle and rims. Condition: Excellent. To be precise, there is a slight firing crack inside the basket that does not go through to the other side.

This porcelain tray was produced in France by Haviland Limoges around 1900. We believe that the porcelain blank was sold white ware to a decorator who hand painted it. The tray measures 11 1/8 inches long and 8 3/4 inches wide. The porcelain blank has a scalloped edge. The ground color blends from deep green, to teal green to yellow. There are raspberry vines trailing across the tray. The flowers, berries and foliage are professionally painted. The colors are bright and vivid. The rim is trimmed with gold. Condition: Excellent.

This ceramic box with brass mounts was produced in France by Gien around 1875. It is 6 1/2 inches high and has a diameter of 4 1/4 inches. The ceramic is soft paste with a tin glaze similar to majolica. If you run your fingers around the piece, you can actually feel the enamel painting. It is richly decorated with cherubs, fountains, and ornate scrolls, all on a cobalt blue background. The designs are all hand painted. There is a piece of fruit for the finial on the top of the lid. The bottom has a brass mount with lion's paws and the lid is hinged. Condition: The bottom inside rim has been restored. There are no other defects.

This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in England by Coalport in the 1890s. The saucer has a diameter of 4 1/4 inches. The cup is 2 1/8 inches tall with a diameter of 1 7/8 inches. The set is made of fine, white bone china. The cup is melon ribbed and blown out. The saucer has a scalloped rim. The ground color is rich cobalt blue. It is decorated with elaborate raised gold decorations. Gilded swags and raised gold beads accent the design. The interior of the cup, well of the saucer and handle are richly gilded. This is truly an product of the “Gilded Age”. Condition: Excellent, with just a trace of wear to gilding, hardly noticeable. Both pieces “ring” when tapped.

This porcelain vase was produced in England by Coalport in the 1890s. It is 6 5/8” high with a diameter of 5 ½”. The vase has a blown out, melon shape, has scrolled feet and has a molded rococo style border at the top edge. The decoration is very ornate, to appeal to Victorian taste. A cobalt blue collar is over laid with gilding that is mosaic like. Within that collar, on the front of the vase, is a reserve containing a hand painted land and water scene with mountains in the background. It is framed in raised gilding. The lower portion of the vase has a cream colored ground, over laid with a lacy pattern of gilding. In this design you can find cobalt blue butterflies outlined in gold and round ornaments. The border is trimmed with gold and the feet are gilded. The interior of the vase has a tinge of pink color over laid with spattered gilding. It is a truly amazing piece with endless detail.
