This porcelain plate was produced in France by William Guerin Limoges in 1900. It has a diameter of 10 3/4 inches. The foot ring on the back of the plate is trimmed with gold. This is often an indication that the particular item was exclusive in its production. The plate has an under glaze green mark and an over glaze gold mark indicating that the porcelain and the decoration are both from the factory. In addition, there is an artist’s signature on the front of the plate. It has a 1 3/4 inch cobalt blue border richly decorated with elaborate raised gilding. The portrait is of a young woman seemingly in contemplation. She is serene in her simplicity. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain platter was produced in France by Haviland Limoges. A studio painter purchased it white ware for decoration around 1900. The platter measures 14 3/4 inches long, 10 1/2 inches wide and 1 3/4 inches deep. The platter has a scalloped border with molded beads around the edge. There are sweet roses encircling the border. The beaded rim is trimmed with gold. The effort and love that went into creating this platter gives it the charm of generations past. Condition: The gilding around the rim has very slight wear on some of the high spots. It is not evident unless you look closely for it.

This covered vegetable dish was produced in France by Pouyat Limoges around 1900. It is 11 1/4 inches long, 8 inches wide and 5 1/2 inches high. The porcelain has molded poppies and scrolled edges and handles. It is decorated with art nouveau chrysanthemums. Heavy gilding is profusely used on the rims and handles. Delicate gilding is used to accent the design and to trim the borders. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain serving dish was produced in France by Tressemann & Vogt Limoges between 1892 and 1907. The blank porcelain was sold white ware to the renowned painter Ester Miler for decoration in New York City. The artist’s signature is in the decoration. The dish measures 9 1/2 inches in diameter. It is 2 1/2 inches high with the second tier having a diameter of 4 3/4 inches. The ground color shades from light blue-green to light yellow. It is a perfect backdrop for the white and peach colored roses and foliage. The colors blend so pleasingly. Miler’s signature brush style is clearly evident in this piece. It is trimmed with heavy gilding giving the dish a rich touch. This is a lovely, versatile serving dish you will want to use often. It would also make a great gift for some special occasion. This pair of porcelain oyster plates was produced in France by Bawo & Dotter Limoges, sometimes called Elite Limoges, around 1900. They measure 8 1/2 inches in diameter. They have space for 5 shells and have a central salt dip. They are factory decorated with a transfer design. A ring of delicate pink roses encircle the border. The gracefully scrolled rim is accented with brushed gold. They are perfect for use or display. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain tray was produced in France by Haviland Limoges around 1900. We believe that the porcelain blank was sold white ware to a decorator who hand painted it. The tray measures 11 1/8 inches long and 8 3/4 inches wide. The porcelain blank has a scalloped edge. The ground color blends from deep green, to teal green to yellow. There are raspberry vines trailing across the tray. The flowers, berries and foliage are professionally painted. The colors are bright and vivid. The rim is trimmed with gold. Condition: Excellent.

This porcelain serving dish was produced in France by Klingenberg Limoges. The white blank was sold for decoration to a studio artist. It is signed and dated 1906. The dish measures 16 inches across the handles. it is 8 3/4 inches wide and 1 1/2 inches deep. The porcelain has scrolled, molded handles and scalloped edges. Colorful hand painted roses spill across the interior of the dish. There is gold trim on the handles and edges. This is an attractive piece with an impressive size for use and display. Condition: There is a trace of wear to some gilding on the edge that is hardly noticeable. The piece is in overall excellent condition.

This porcelain platter was produced in France by Haviland & Co Limoges between 1888 and 1896. It measures 16 3/4 inches long, 10 1/2 inches wide, and 1 3/4 inches deep. The blank is known as “Marsielle and the decoration is known as Schleiger #266B. The blank has graceful curves and ruffles molded into the porcelain. The decoration is a factory painted over transfer. Trailing vines and roses spill across the porcelain. The rims have hand painted gold accents. This is a fine quality piece you can be proud to display and use. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain bowl was produced inParis, France by Bourdois and Bloch around 1868. Eugene Clauss started this porcelain factory in 1828. The bowl measures 12 1/4” long,8 1/8 inches wide and 3 1/2 inches deep. The porcelain is heavily reticulated and has scalloped edges. It has a pedestal base giving the shape another level. It is elaborately hand decorated inside and outside. There are gilded cartouches in five areas inside and four places on the outside. Colorful sprays of flowers are framed by shiny gilding. The remaining surfaces are covered with tiny flower sprigs, all meticulously hand painted. The design is mesmerizing. The inside rim has a border of fancy scrolled gilding. This is an exciting piece of porcelain you won’t be able to take your eyes off.

This porcelain charger was produced in France by Lazeyras, Rosenfeld & Lehmen Limoges in the 1890s. The charger was hand painted by a professional artist and is signed on the front. The back has double underglaze markings from the factory. The charger is 15 1/2 inches in diameter. It is pierced for hanging and retains wiring for hanging. The decoration is exceptional in subject and execution. There are figures of three ladies, one sitting in a sedan chair. There is so much detail and the painting is brilliantly colored. It has a rococo border painted in heavy gold. A charger of this size is difficult to find. It is a truly one-of-a-kind treasure. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in France by a Paris decorator in the 1870s or earlier. It has a hand painted monogram “AJ” hand painted in gold. The saucer is 5 1/2 inches in diameter. The cup is 2 inches tall with a diameter of 3 1/4 inches. The porcelain it thin and translucent. The cup has a hand painted scene that surrounds the entire surface. An 18th century couple, of noble birth, are holding hands and reading a letter. The painting is soft and dream-like. The surroundings are a wooded landscape opening up to a stream. The saucer has paintings of objects and ornaments, symbolic in nature. One side, a quiver of arrows possibly cupid’s, a nest of eggs, a dove and flowers represent the blossoming love. The other side has an instrument, lute or mandolin, pages of love letters, a harp and tambourine. These objects were used in the pursuit of the loved one. There is delicate gold trim on the rims and handle. This is art, produced by a highly skilled and talented artist. Condition: Excellent, without defects of any kind.

This porcelain two piece stamp box was produced in France by Tressemann & Vogt in the 1890s. The box is 4 1/4 inches long, 2 3/4 inches wide and 3 inches high, including the handle. The box has the artist’s initials on the bottom. The porcelain blank was sold white ware and decorated by a studio artist. There are three compartments inside the box to hold stamps. The ground color shades from mint green to almost white. There are vibrantly colored roses tumbling across the top of the box. The handle is gilded. This is an unusual and rare object, of interest to collectors of Limoges porcelain. Condition: Excellent

This ceramic bowl was produced in France by Longwy in the late 19th century. It is not signed, but the workmanship and style of the bowl are characteristic of the Longwy factory. It measures 5 1/4 inches across the top and 3 1/4 inches high. The bowl is 3-lobed and stands on 3 little feet. The ground color is a deep cobalt blue. There are pink and blue carnations with foliage surrounding the entire bowl. All of the decoration is incised and colored with bright enamels. Condition: There is a small chip, about 1/8 of an inch, on the underside of the rim. It cannot be seen from the top. You have to feel under the rim

This set of 6 porcelain plates were made in France in the mid 19th century. The may have been made by a Paris porcelain decorator. The plates have a diameter of 9 5/8 inches. They are made of fine hard paste porcelain. The rims are scalloped. They are decorated in the Sevres style and have the crossed L’s under glaze. The decoration is completely hand painted. There is bright royal blue trim and ornaments. Garlands of peach colored roses encircle the plate. There are gilded medallions around the rims. These plates are quite special and wonderfully decorative. Only one plate is pictured but the set includes 6 plates. Condition: There is light surface wear and some stacking wear. This porcelain serving platter was produced in France by Coiffe Limoges in the late 19th century. It measures 12 1/2 inches across the handles. The porcelain was purchased white ware to be painted by a studio artist. There is a signature on the back. The ground color has a slightly creamy hue. The flowing pink roses and foliage tumble down the middle of the platter. They are realistically hand painted in shades of pink and green. The rim and handles are trimmed with gold. Condition: Excellent

This pair of porcelain vases was produced in France by Paul Blot, Maison Jacquel, at rue del la Pais, Paris. Both have hand painted signatures. They are 7 3/4 inches tall with a diameter of 5 inches at the widest point. The porcelain is fine and translucent. The ground color is creamy beige. The vases are exquisitely hand painted. The front and back of each vase has bouquets of vibrant pink roses. Blossoms are budding and in full bloom. They are accented with blue feather-like plumes and vines. To the sides, there are wreathes of purple violets accompanied by lavender ribbons. Wide bands of gold have fine point line designs in black on the neck and foot of each vase. This splendid pair of vases is a rare find that will add an eye-catching splash of color to any interior. Condition: Excellent, without defects of any kind.

These 6 porcelain demitasse cups and saucers were produced in France in the 1890s. They have a spurious Sevres mark but were most likely decorated by a Paris porcelain firm. The saucers have a diameter of 3 3/4 inches and the cups are 2 inches high. The cups have a puffy, blown-out shape. The set is decorated with an elaborate raised gold pattern in two color gold. The interiors of the cups are coated with gold. The rims and handles are gilded. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in France by Demartine Limoges around 1891. It was made especially for Tiffany of New York. The saucer has a diameter of 4 1/8 inches and the cup is 2 1/8 inches high. The porcelain is thin and translucent. The ground color is taupe, a combination of dark brown and gray. Both pieces are elaborately hand painted with arabesques that are accented with blue flowers and orange berries. The whole design is textured from the raised enameling and gilding. There is trim of gold and silver at the edges and around the well of the saucer. The entire surface of the ground color has a pattern of minute gold dots covering it. There is dental gold trim on the rims and the handle is sculpted gold. This demitasse cup and saucer is an extraordinary artistic accomplishment in the style Tiffany was famous for.
