This porcelain bowl was produced in Germany by Meissen in 1930. It has a diameter of 8 inches and a height of 3 1/4 inches. The fine hard paste porcelain is reticulated in a snowflake type pattern. The bowl features three dolphin shaped feet. The center of the bowl is hand painted with brightly colored fruit done in a realistic manner. The reticulated decoration is outlined with gold on the inside and outside of the bowl. The rim is trimmed with gold and the dolphins are also highlighted with gold. This bowl is a superb item for decoration or use. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in Germany by Meissen in the 1930s. It has the blue crossed sword mark under glaze which is first quality. The sauce has a diameter of 5 7/8 inches. The cup is 2 inches tall with a diameter of 3 7/8 inches. The porcelain is the highest quality made for centuries in the western hemisphere. It is hand painted with an Asian inspired design called “Royal Court Yellow Tiger”. It is a very colorful ornate pattern, painstakenly hand painted. The rims and handle are accented with gold. Condition: Excellent

This silver overlay vase was produced in Germany by Friedrich Spar & Company around 1930. Except for a number 21 in red it is not signed but we are certain of its origin. The vase measures 7 inches in diameter. The art deco design is Asian inspired with pink flowers and branches spreading around the porcelain. The ground color is medium blue which contrasts so beautifully with the pink blossoms. The silver work is elaborate. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain figurine was produced in Germany by Fraureuth in 1935. The piece is artist signed but we are unable to identify the signature. It is 7 inches long and 5 3/4 inches high. The dachshund is well modeled with nice breed detail. He is hand painted in natural colors. Condition: Excellent. On the underside of the figurine something was ground off, as shown in the last photo.

This porcelain miniature tureen was produced in Hungary by Herend between 1905 and 1938. It measures 5 1/4 inches across the handles and is 3 3/4 inches high. It is made of fine, hard paste porcelain. The piece is decorated with little hand painted insects and life-like fruits and vegetables. The finial on the lid is a half a lemon. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain box was produced in Hungary by Herend between 1905 and 1938. It measures 4 inches long, 3 1/4 inches wide and 2 inches deep. The box is decorated with bright hand painted fruits and flowers. There are tiny flower buds, nuts and bugs dotting the corners. The box has four little feet. It is trimmed with gold on the rims. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain demitasse set was produced in Germany by Rosenthal in 1930. The marking was used for this year. The set consists of a pot measuring 8 inches high with the lid, a sugar bowl with lid that is 6 inches across the handle and 3 1/2 inches high, a cream pitcher that measures 3 3/4 inches high and 6 cups that are 1 1/2 inches high and 6 saucers with a diameter of 4 1/8 inches. The set is decorated in the Art Deco style. There are stylized floral designs trailing across each piece. All of the pieces have gilded accents and gold trim. This fashionable Rosenthal set is sure to bring compliments. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in Germany by Meissen in 1927. The saucer has a diameter of 5 3/4 inches and the cup is 2 inches high. The porcelain is the finest quality the Western world has seen. The set has slightly scalloped edges that alternate with little points. It is hand painted with sprigs of nasturtiums and foliage. They are brightly colored and realistically painted. The rims and handle are trimmed with gold. Condition: Excellent, first quality porcelain.

This porcelain demitasse or mocha cup and saucer was produced in Germany by Rosenthal in 1929. The saucer measures 4 inches in diameter and the cup is 1 ½ inches high. The set has a bright marigold yellow ground. Heavy silver overlay in art deco style decorates both pieces. The design is linear and geometric at the same time. The size and shape are great for after dinner coffee. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain dish was produced in Germany by the Royal Berlin Porcelain Manufactory, known as KPM, in 1920. The dish measures 8 1/2 inches across the handles and is 2 inches high. The porcelain blank has a reticulated border and intricate molded scrolls. The base of the dish stands on four scrolled feet. The reticulation and molded designs are all accented with fine hand gilding. There is a colorful bouquet of flowers in the center of the dish. KPM has distinguished itself as porcelain of elegance and refinement. This dish is a testament to that quality. Condition: Excellent

These 11 porcelain plates were produced in Bavaria by C.M. Hutschenreuther between 1927 and 1941. Black Knight is the registered trade mark used by the exporter Graham & Zenger of New York. The plates measure 9 7/8 inches inches in diameter. They are decorated with a factory transfer with hand painted accents. They are surrounded by fine, lacy gilding of tiny vines and flowers. Bands of embossed gilding trim the rims and around the center of the plates. The colors are vivid and the gilding is bright. Condition: Excellent

This set of 10 porcelain soup cups and saucer was produced in England by Royal Worcester in 1925. The date ciphers on the bottom indicate that year. They were made especially for the retailer Marshall Field of Chicago. All of the pieces are artist signed by renowned Worcester painters. Two of them are E. Phillips and A. Freeman. The saucers have a diameter of 5 3/4 inches and the cups are 2 inches high not counting the handles. The interiors of the cups and wells of the saucers have reserves with realistic, brightly colored flowers. The borders, which are 1 1/2 inches wide, are a deep crimson red. They are overlaid with elaborate gilding. These bouillon cups and saucers are elegant and would be wonderful for display. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain figurine of a kitten was produced in Bavaria by Rosenthal between 1921 and 1922. It is signed by the artist, Theodore Karner. The kitten measures 6 ½ inches long, 3 1/2 inches wide and 2 1/2 inches high. The figure is modeled with great attention to detail. Karner is known for giving his creations wonderful personality. The coloring is done by hand. This little kitty has the most mischievous expression. Any moment that toy will be ripped to shreds. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain figurine was produced in Germany by Hutschenreuther in 1920. It measures 6 inches high. It is artist signed by K. Tutter, a renowned modeler of porcelain. The blanc de chine cherub is modeled with excellent definition and adorable character. He is sitting on a huge gold ball seemingly about to slide off. Tutter used imaginative and intriguing subjects that are delightful. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain figurine was produced in Germany by Rosenthal in the 1920s. It is signed on the base by the artist, Himmelstoss. It is 7 1/4 inches high. The piece is styled in the art deco manner. The modeling is simple and the colors are subtle. From her dress and braids down her back, you can see she is a country girl. Condition: Excellent

This faience figural group was produced in Bologna, Italy by Aurelio Minghetti in the early 1900s. This piece was sold by the retailer “Carbone” of Boston, who handled European imports from about 1910 to 1920. It measures 16 inches high, 9 1/2 inches wide, and 8 inches deep. It is well modeled and hand painted. The garments on the Madonna have colorful detail. There is a feel of serenity and ancient Mediterranean tradition in the piece. It displays beautifully in the round. Condition: There is a chip on the side base that is barely visible and can be seen in the last photo; some insignificant abrasions, but no restorations or breaks. Note: This piece weighs 8 1/2 pounds unpacked.

The set has a quatrefoil shape, with tiny hand painted flowers dotting each piece. The rims are trimmed with gold. Condition: Excellent, first quality.

The blank is named “Maria.” The cup has a pedestal base and the rim of the saucer has embossed decoration around the rim. The cup has a gilded interior. There is a bold geometric pattern in gold and orange that repeats itself around the cup and saucer. The handle and rims are trimmed with gold. CONDITION: Excellent
