This porcelain sucrier or covered sugar bowl was produced in Paris, France in the late 18th century. It is unmarked with the exception of some incised unidentifiable marks. It has a height of 5 1/2 inches and a diameter of 4 1/2 inches. There are ring handles on each side of the bowl. It has elaborate hand gilding with garlands of flowers and pots filled with flowers. The gilding is superb. There are two reserves on the sides of the bowl containing vibrantly colored baskets of flowers. The workmanship is high quality and is from a distinguished manufacturer. Condition: The finial on the lid was broken off and re-attached. There are no other defects.

This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in France by a Paris Porcelain decorator circa 1800. It is unmarked but there are some incised marks in the porcelain that you often find with Paris pieces. The saucer has a diameter of 5 1/8 inches and it is 1 1/2 inches deep. The cup is 2 1/2 inches high. The set is decorated in the Sevres style. It has a band of pink and aqua with borders of leaves, berries and gilded flowers. There are wide, shiny bands of gold on the rims, and the inside of the cup is gilded. The gilding is very detailed and some of it is tooled. Condition: There is some very slight wear to the gold.

This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in France by a Paris decorator in the mid-19th century. The type of porcelain and style of decoration are indicative of Paris Porcelain. The saucer has a diameter of 5 5/8 inches and the cup is 3 3/8 inches high. The cup and saucer are molded into panels, giving the saucer ribs and the cup its shape. These panels divide the decoration into scenic segments and ornamental segments. There are buildings, bridges and trees done in a Chinoiserie stylized manner. In the design, you can see little figures in the windows or out fishing. The rims and handle are trimmed with gold. Inside the cup, at the bottom, is a beautiful gilded medallion. Condition: There are touches of wear to the gilding on the rims of both pieces and inside the well of the saucer.

This porcelain jardinière was produced in France by Bernardaud & Co. Limoges between 1900 and 1914. The porcelain was sold white ware to a studio artist to be decorated later. The artist’s signature is in the decoration. The jardinière is approximately 12 inches in diameter and 8 1/2 inches high. It is hand painted with brightly colored chrysanthemums in art nouveau style. The ground color is mint green that shades from lighter to a bit darker from top to bottom. There is gold trim on the rim of the jardinière. Condition: Excellent

They measure 7 5/8 inches high and the diameter of the foot is 4 1/4 inches. The pair is decorated with rose and pink colored roses that tumble around each piece. The ground color is green that shades from light to dark. The tops of the candlesticks are painted with gold.

This set of 6 porcelain plates were made in France in the mid 19th century. The may have been made by a Paris porcelain decorator. The plates have a diameter of 9 5/8 inches. They are made of fine hard paste porcelain. The rims are scalloped. They are decorated in the Sevres style and have the crossed L’s under glaze. The decoration is completely hand painted. There is bright royal blue trim and ornaments. Garlands of peach colored roses encircle the plate. There are gilded medallions around the rims. These plates are quite special and wonderfully decorative. Only one plate is pictured but the set includes 6 plates. Condition: There is light surface wear and some stacking wear. This porcelain bowl was produced in France at a Limoges porcelain manufacturer in the late 19th century. We were unable to identify the marks. It is a factory decorated piece with both under glaze and over glaze markings. The bowl measures 10 inches in diameter and is 2 1/4 inches deep. It has a scalloped rim. There are colorful pink carnations suspended from the rim of the bowl into the center. Buds and foliage fill out the rest of the design. There are raised gold accents and a heavy gold border around the edge. The design is very similar to the art nouveau patterns used at Pickard.

This 10 piece porcelain game bird set was produced in France by Lazeyras, Rosenfeld & Lehman in the 1920s. Not all the plates are pictured, but the set includes 9 plates and the platter. It is a factory decorated set with under glaze and over glaze marks and a factory artist’s signature. The platter measures 19 inches long, 12 1/2 inches wide and 2 1/4 inches deep. The 9 plates have a diameter of 9 1/4 inches. The rims on the plates are scalloped. The rim of the platter is molded and scalloped. Each piece is hand painted with flying game birds such as pheasants, partridges, and mallards. The rims are trimmed with gold. The set is colorful and very decorative. Condition: Excellent. There is virtually no wear or signs of use.

This porcelain fruit bowl was produced in France by Tressemann & Vogt Limoges in the early 20th century. The porcelain bowl was sold white ware to a studio artist to decorate. It measures 9 1/2 inches in diameter and is 4 1/4 inches high. The rim of the bowl has a slightly scalloped rim with little crimps punctuating it. The quality of the painting on this bowl is very professional with fine technique. There are realistic black raspberries and blossoms on the outside of the bowl. Inside, the color is done on a rosy shaded ground, like a sunset, giving the berries a monochrome appearance. It’s like night and day from the inside of the bowl to the outside. Condition: Some of the high points on the gilded rim have tiny spots of wear. It is otherwise in excellent condition.
