Nepalese Ghee soft Butter milk Jug mounted in stamped and etched silver, with Brass button and Copper ring for the carry on strap, 19th century, 8" high, 3 1/8" diameter-bottom, 2 5/8" diameter-top rim. This Ghee tea bottle or jug was purchased in Mustang, Nepal during 1980's, used to belong to most powerful family King's family in old upper Mustang region near Tibetan border, used to use in the kitchen for daily. One(1) brass or silver button is missing but protected very well overall, oily and some dents on silver rim and lots of wears by hand for long time in the kitchen.

Pair Chinese Export porcelain Famille Rose with Cafe au Lait glazed Dishes, early Qianlung period, 1736-1796, 5 1/8" diameter, 3/4" high, decorated with large butterfly in the center with floral branches with bird and butterflies in overglaze enamel, and molded as a honeycomb and scalloped edge rim. Light color of Cafe au Lait glaze underneath outside, underglaze blue mark on white background in the center on the bottom. One dish has small old chip 3/8" size underneath the rim next to firing mark, nothing showing from the top. The other dish has hairline 3/4" long from the rim.

Pair Chinese Green glazed on pottery Foo dog Joss Stick Holders, Ca. 1920, 5 1/4" high, 1 1/2" wide-bottom, 2 3/4" deep-base, 4 1/4" maximum depth, very nice small size, they usually used in the temples on the Altar. Some of the green glaze pieces are chipped off which is very typical for this type of green glaze on pottery pieces, no major damages. Still retained Export Wax Seal on top of the head.

Most of the decorations are so tiny smaller than hair line, camera can't captured the very detailed fine designs. Each vase depicting different stories but continues one vase to another vase, ladies and kids are outing, playing games or talking each other in the most beautiful Japanese garden scenery and lake under the red Maple trees, and tiny geese are flying far above, and ladies are carrying paper and bamboo Umbrellas. The condition is near perfect, some flat gold band designs are worn on the bottom from the handling by hands, not noticeable unless you put vases upside down.

There are few chips around the top rim and corner of square bottom, no repair, rings like bell. Carved Rosewood cover was replaced about 50 years ago, in good condition.

Pair Chinese Famille Rose Porcelain Flask shape or Moon shape Vases, Ca. 1800, 10 1/4" high, 7 1/4" wide-widest part, 2 1/2" wide on the oval shape base, 2 1/8" diameter on the top rim, with applied climbing 3 dimensional Lizard handles on both sides, on top of the overglaze decorated flowers and vines in pink background, yellow wide band on the top and the bottom with decorated floral vines. Large roundel on both side of the vase with two(2) Dragons chasing the flame in the center in Turquoise color background. All the decorations are done in overglazed enamel and the details are very fine and beautifully emphasized the each design. There are two(2) very shallow flake chips on the unglazed bottom rim size of 1/4" long(only reason to notice is lighter white color, not much depth), and small white chip on the elbow of one of the Lizard the size of 3/8" wide. The Gold decoration on the top rim is worn on some areas and one(1) tiny bubble is popped in the kiln. These exact pair of Flask shape Famille Rose Porcelain Vases in beautiful condition and the decorations are finely done, very difficult to find such a fine quality.

Pair Japanese carved solid Wood Shrine Guardian Lions, 10 1/2" high, 6" wide, 11" deep each, wonderfully aged, bleached and weathered being outside above Shrine or Temple heavy door frames. These Guardians also called Protector, or Shishi Dog, one mouth open and another mouth closed, always as a pair, placed on the top of the door hinges or under the eave in front of the Shrine doors to protect and stand Guard outside before entering the Shrine. The details of the carving is bold, humorous and very detailed, like fat feet and tummy, fierce eyes, and face expressions are very humorous and cute. The condition is good, one side of ear belongs to the one mouth open Shishi is somewhat bruised and missing a little piece of wood, and shows the age and weathered cracks on the both Guardian Dogs.

The copper lining has been cleaned and polished and in good condition.
