Oil on canvas by David Day, dating from 1948. The painting is signed and dated L.R. and is in excellent condition. Contemporary Arts and Crafts gilt frame. David Day studied nude painting in the California studio of Lorser Feitelson in the fourties.

Original oil on masonite (36 x 24)by Paul D. Natkin, contemporary artist from Seattle (solo exhibits at the Davidson Gallery, Pioneer Square). The painting is titled "...thinking distant thoughts..." and dates from 1998. It is one of the many representations the artist has created of a specific Seattle viewpoint which has fascinated him for many years.

Original oil (50" x 40") by Bertha Ballou (American/ 1891-1978). Bertha Ballou studied at the ASL, the Boston School of Fine Art and in Florence. She settled in Spokane, WA. She is the daughter of Colonel C. Original marble sculpture by Theodor Mallener (Czech, 1892-1978). Mallener is a Czech sculptor born in Olomouc, Czechoslovakia. He apparently spent part of his life in Germany, where he died (Schwabmunchen, Bavaria) in 1972. He is listed mainly in Czech sources. Original acrylic on panel by Arnold Mesches, measuring 11" by 23". This early work by Mesches (dated on the reverse 1959) retains its original frame and was purchased from the artist in 1960. Arnold Mesches is an extremely well-listed artist born in New York in 1923. He is known for having turned the files the FBI kept on him into works of "engage" art. Very large vase by Pierre Greber, dating from around 1950 when he produced his famous "bronzed ceramics", with a metallic glaze on a black background. This vase in excellent condition measures approximately 11 1/2" high and is signed with the incised "Greber" signature Pierre borrowed from his uncle Charles. Wonderful early vase by Pierre Greber, dating from around 1935, in excellent condition. This unusual vase is 8 1/2" high and is very reminiscent of Charles Greber's Art Nouveau pieces. It is signed with the "Greber" incised signature in script Pierre borrowed from his uncle.

Antique Balouchi balisht front, in excellent full pile un-restored condition, with natural dyes, complete with flat-weave ends. Great color palette, including the use of green. It appears to date from the end of the nineteenth century. 22" by 37".

Original oil on canvas by Dorothy Eaton (American/ 1893-1968), signed l.l. "Dorothy Eaton" and dated 1957 on the back. This painting measures 25" by 30". It is in excellent untouched original condition, and is offered in a newer gallery frame. Dorothy Eaton is very well listed, with auction records over ten thousand dollars. She studied at the ASL with Kenneth Hayes Miller. Some of her works are exhibited in the Smith College Museum of Art in Northampton, MA.

Beautiful Balouchi Balisht front, in fine condition, natural dyes, wonderful tree of life design on camel ground, some corrosion of the browns, with original selvedges and flat-woven ends. This piece measures 18" by 39". One of a few Balouchi weavings currently for sale on this website.

Antique original lithograph of a standing nude by Julius John Pommer (American, 1895-1945). This wonderful nude dates from the thirties. It is dedicated l.l. and pencil signed l.r. Offered framed. Pommer was born in San Francisco and studied at the CSFA under Otis Oldfield. He was active in the Federal Arts Project in the thirties. Well listed (cf. Askart, Edan Hughes "Artists in California", etc.
