This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in England by Royal Crown Derby in 1892. The date ciphers in the mark indicate this year. The set is made of fine white bone china. The decoration is in the Japanese Imari style. There are borders of cobalt blue, baskets of flowers and all kinds of gilded ornaments. The set has a graceful shape and elaborate design. This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in Germany by Helena Wolfsohn Dresden in the 1880s. The shape of the set is quatrefoil. It is decorated with alternating panels of flowers and landscape scenes with lovers in gardens. Ornate gilding trims the rims and separates the panels. All the decoration is painstakingly hand painted in the Meissen style. Condition: Excellent
