A delightful and very rare Staffordshire ironstone puzzle jug by Elsmore & Forster. The sides are decorated with colorful scenes of a cockfight below the lip, while the sides feature large images of the famed circus clown “Cashmore”. The foot, rim and handle are highlighted with red stripes. The interior has a hidden siphon system that causes the contents to spill when the jug is tipped, unless the pourer covers the small air hole on the inside of the handle...

This porcelain pitcher was produced in England by Royal Worcester in 1887. It is model number 1185 and has the date letter indicating the year. The pitcher measures 6 inches high and has a diameter of about 5 1/4 inches. The ground color of the porcelain is ivory. The porcelain is molded with a handle shaped like bamboo. A Very Large Mintons Charger with a Deep Green Background with a Bird and Florals Design. Date mark 1880. Dimensions; 15.25" in diameter x 1.375" deep. Mintons imprint and date mark and a paper label from "T Goode & Co. South Audley Street, Grosvenor Square London". (Thomas Goode, Prestige Retailer, established in 1827 and moved to South Audley Street in 1876. Goode had a close relationship with Minton.) Excellent condition.

A Wedgwood Creamware (Queensware) Reticulated Bowl or Basket with a Handpainted Floral and Butterfly Pattern. Wedgwood imprint and Date letters VOH for July 1879. Dimensions of bowl 9" long x 7" wide x 2.75" high. The condition is close to excellent.

A Rare and Unusual Wedgwood Creamware Tea Set with Tray; impressed Wedgwood mark and date mark of THA (1872). Consists of Teapot (4.5" high x 7" spout to handle), Covered Sugar, Creamer, Waste Bowl and Quatrefoil Footed Tray (16.75" x 12.5"). The Design is of Fu Dogs, Butterflies and Branches. A nice Griffin, Smith & Hill majolica pitcher in the "Wild Rose" pattern. The bulbous sides are decorated with yellow wild rose blossoms and green foliage against a stippled ivory background. The base has a medium-blue basketweave pattern and the lip is finished in a reeded pattern in the same shade. The pitcher has an applied twig handle and a butterfly forms the pouring spout. The interior is pink.

TF was an English maker, well-known for his export of meticulously decorated transfer ware to the US and Canada. A wonderful hexagonal shaped ironstone flow mulberry covered dish with handles, often times called a vegetable dish, in the Jeddo pattern by William Adams and Sons, c. 1850.
