This porcelain figurine was produced in Thuringia,Germany by the Brothers Heubach in the 1880s. It has an impressed and a printed mark. The kitten is 7 1/4 inches high. The porcelain is well modeled giving the figurine lots of kitty details. The best part is that sweet little kitten face. All of the detail is hand painted right down to her little claws. These 10 porcelain berry dishes or bowls were produced in France by Haviland & Co. Limoges between 1876 and 1886. There is a double mark indicating this period. The dishes are 4 5/8 inches in diameter and 1 inch deep. The set is decorated in a Japanese inspired transfer print that is hand colored. There are delicate sprays of pastel colored flowers. These are accented by butterflies and Japanese gold and silver balls. The rims are trimmed with an apricot colored border...

Very rare Staffordshire pottery child's plate with an ABC rim surrounding a hand-colored transfer print of a railroad steam engine emerging from a tunnel. The plate is very colorful and is highly desirable because of the train decoration.
