This porcelain basket was produced in Germany by Nymphenburg in the late 19th century. It is 11 inches long, 8 1/4 inches wide and 2 1/4 inches high. The porcelain is hard paste of the highest quality. The sides of the basket are reticulated giving it a woven effect. There are two rococo style handles on each side. This porcelain box was produced in England by Royal Crown Derby in 1906. The marks on the bottom identify this date. The box measures 2 3/8 inches wide, 2 1/4 inches long and 1 1/4 inches deep. The porcelain is pure, white, bone china. The box is heart shaped with a little puffiness to the lid. The bottom half has a gadrooned edge around it. This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in England by Royal Crown Derby in 1912. There are date ciphers that indicate this date. The set is made of high quality bone china. It is decorated in a Japanese Imari pattern. The decoration is hand painted and ornately gilded. The decoration on the cup and saucer is bold and vivid. There is some slight wear in the well of the saucer. This cup and saucer is in otherwise excellent condition.

They may have been a special order for a wealthy client. The saucers are 5 ¾ inches in diameter. The cups are 3 ½ inches high at the handle, with a diameter of 3 5/8 inch diameter. This is a Victorian Staffordshire-style spill vase, of biscuit porcelain shaded to pale green, spill vases were placed on a fireplace mantle to hold spills---the small wood or paper splinters used to obtain light from a fire; modeled as 3 knarled trees joined by leafy branches; surface cracks; 6" high.

An outstanding pair of studio quality candlesticks from the hands of famed ceramicist Clement Massier of free form with fully modeled frogs and snails. The glaze is a complex interplay between faintly iridescent gold and hollandaise yellow. Signed C(lement) M(assier) Golfe Juan AM on underside. Excellent condition.

A Minton's Indian Tree platter, transfer printed in a sparkling famille rose palette, year mark for 1843, pattern number 1482. This classical pattern was first introduced by Minton’s, around 1840. Width: 14 1/4" / 36,5 cm. Condition: hairlines to one side and some wear to the decorated surface.

English Staffordshire Porcelain Cottage, 5" high, 4 1/2" wide on the base, with bay windows and roof above the door, attic has room with windows, very charming piece, no marks on the bottom. There are two(2) chips 1/8" to 1/4" wide around the chimney .

This porcelain box was produced in Germany by Meissen in the late 19th century. It has first quality crossed swords on the bottom. The box measures 4 1/2” long, 3” wide and 2 1/2” deep, The lid had a finely hand painted bull finch bir perched in a blue berry branch. The coloring is vibrant and the style realistic. Little flying insects dot the bottom half of the box. The rims are trimmed with gold. Condition: Very slight wear to gilding on edge. There are no other defects.

As mentioned for other similar items on the site, this type ware is often mistakenly referred to as Leeds and featheredge. In reality, many factories other than Leeds made items of this nature, and the type edge here is more properly called a molded edge. This particular plate was made by Riley, and is indicated as such with an impressed mark on the back. Being able to identify the maker does increase the value to some extent. Also, green-edged wares are considerably less common than blue.
