An English Victorian sterling silver presentation trophy, London, 1872, by John and Henry Lias (probably). Size: 9 5/8 inches ht. Weight: 12.5 Troy ounces. This is a 1st Place prize for "Sailing Boats Under 24 Feet, Won By The Petrel, C.H. Simmons." And on the reverse in a cartouche - "G.A.R. 1st Prize, Sept. 5, 1872." Decorated in flat chasing in the Aesthetic Movement style. Excellent condition.

Art Nouveau glass decanter with engraved silver overlay. Made by Alvin Corporation in Providence, ca 1890. Conical with cut-to-clear geometric ornament at base, and star on underside. Dense overlay with rinceaux, flowers, and scrollwork. Ball stopper with grape bunches and leaves in strapwork frames. Decanter is cranberry and stopper is clear. This is a CONTINENTAL SILVER SUGAR SIFTER with Gilded Bowl. Made of Heavy Gauge 800 Silver the Front has a Pair of CUPIDS atop the Handle, one playing a Flute and the other has Cymbals. The Front is Nicely Decorated with Flowers and Fruit. The BOWL is Gilded and Pierced for Sugar (can be liquid). Length is 7 1/4" and the Bowl is 2 3/8" at the Widest. Marked on the back: 800 with a German or Italian Mark. Excellent Condition and a BEAUTY.

Lovely oval lobed shape enamel and silver compact, painting of group of Putti holding hands dancing encircling a tree with landscape in the background. The painting is framed with silver engraving and carnelian blue enamel accents. Stamped 800 silver and a duck and makers seal inside with the print of a doll. Dimensions 3 1/2"L x 2 1/2"W. Condition Report: Excellent condition, this fine compact should be Austrian in origin.

A nice pair of Georgian English sterling 5-5/8" sugar tongs with elegant bright cut decoration. These tongs were made by Thomas Wallis and Jonathan Hayne in London, England 1816-17; they weigh 24.5 grams, they have an S over WxM monogram, and they are in excellent original condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. Fully marked including stamp for Roger Williams, a Providence maker that merged other makers to form the Mt Vernon Company, which in turn was acquired by Gorham in 1913. Well crafted Burmese repousse silver dish, the dish engraved and worked in repousse featuring immortals encircling the cavetto around a peacock chiseled to the center, from late 19th century period. Size; Diameter of dish is appx. 7 1/4 inches with no condition concerns.

An English Georgian Sterling Toddy or Punch Ladle with a Coin from the Reign of George II in the Center of the Bowl. There is a Half Spiral Twist Baleen (Whalebone) Handle, with a Silver Tip at the End. The Coin is dated 1757, but the Bowl is unmarked, common for such items. Dimension; 14.5" in length. Very Good condition, with some wear on edge of bowl.

This is a beautiful American sterling silver bowl made by Whiting Manufacturing Co. It is oval shaped with a shallow center and is partially looped and bordered by flowers. The sides of this bowl are looped into a c-scroll rim. It is monogrammed, 10 1/2 inches long and weighs 7.92 oz. and in excellent condition.
