Ornate Victorian sterling silver pie server by Gorham. The pattern is very similar to "Dresden", but is not an exact match. The handle is covered with various motifs, including shells, flowers, scrolls, and foliage. The bowl is very nicely scalloped and elegantly decorated with engraving to match the handle. The original gilding has faded to a soft lemon shade. Pie servers are not very common and are quite useful for all sorts of pie, pastries or cakes, or even tea sandwiches...

A Pair of Sterling Silver Candlesticks by William B, Durgin of Concord, New Hampshire and Retailed by Tilden-Thurber of Providence, RI. Dimensions; 10: high x 5.5" base. Some minor nicks, but in very good condition.

An elegant Thomas Ellis sterling silver and whalebone toddy ladle with an elongated bowl with a rope twist edging. The twisted baleen handle affords a better grip and retains its original end cap. In very good antique condition, it is hallmarked in the bowl and dates circa 1780. Measures 13.25 inches long; bowl measures 2.75" x 2.5", 1" deep.

Arts & Crafts sterling silver picture frame. Made by Watrous Mfg. Co. (part of International Silver Co.) in Wallingford, Conn., ca 1920. Rectangular window with curved corners in same surround with allover spot hammering; at top plain rectangle (vacant). With glass, silk lining, and velvet back and hinged easel support for portrait (vertical) display. Fully marked including Watrous and International stamps and no. 60. Very good condition.

A choice and beautiful bronze signal (table) cannon, dating to the early 18th. century.

The cannon very nicely made and comes with a fine brass patina. Fully functionable cannon made with a bore hole of 16-17 mm.

A Rare Jenkins & Jenkins (noted Baltimore Silversmiths) Sterling Silver Footed Cake Stand or Tazza, with a Floral Repousse Design on the 3" border. Circa 1908-1915. Dimensions; 10" diameter x 1 5/8" high; weight 13.7 Troy ounces. Script monogram in center (LBH?). Excellent condition.

Art Nouveau or Jugendstil silver plated and footed pewter bowl by Kayser, Germany, c 1910. The design is a wreath of cherries, divided into three compartments. Early stamped mark Kayser. The Kayser or Kayserzinn factory in Krefeld produced pewter items of high artistic value in the decades around 1900. Diameter "6¾/ 17,5 cm and height "2/ 5 cm. Condition: fine.

A Large Sterling Silver Pepper or Spice Caster by Currier & Roby, NY, circa 1910-1920. Currier and Roby specialized in High Quality Reproductions of Classic Designs, Operating in the Early Part of the 20th Century. Dimensions; 7" high x 2.5" in diameter; weight; approximately 190 grams. Excellent condition.

A classic 19th century French second standard (800/1000 pure silver) silver tastevin of traditional form and the bottom inset with a silver coin from the reign of Louis XV. The sides of the tastevin are decorated with the traditional raised “perles,” recessed “cupules,” and elongated “godrons” for assessing the depth of color and concentration of a wine...

German Classical silver beaker cup, 18th century. At top leafing scrollwork and scallop shells; at bottom twisted leaf-and dart border. Ornament chased and heightened with engraving. Interior gilt washed. Maker’s mark comprising letters S and I. Condition: Minor dent on bottom otherwise very good with excellent patina.

Very nice set of 11 sterling silver cocktail or seafood forks in Gorham’s 1899 “Cambridge” pattern. This was one of Gorham’s most popular late Victorian patterns. The handles are encrusted in a decoration of wild roses with gadrooned edges. The backs are marked with an older Gorham hallmark and the patent date, indicating that these are early.

Origin: America, ca. 1900. Condition: excellent, no monograms, sharp details. Size: 5-3/8” long. Weight: 145.0 grams.

A Gorham Sterling Silver Sauce or Gravy Ladle in the "New Tip't" pattern, patented in 1871 and dating from shortly after. It is 5.75" in length and the bowl is 2" x 2". There is a single letter monogram on the handle (see picture) and the condition is excellent.

A heavy bronze not for table use, fine details cast decoration, probably Flemish, c. 1550!

The early piece of bronze art is decorated with what looks like saints (old bearded men) on the sides and a framed band of angels with spread wings among floral decor nearer the top.

SizE: 17 cm. tall and 14 cm. wide. Weight: 2 kilograms.

Condition: F-VF for the very early type. A stress crack from use and a few chips to the rim...

An elegant two-piece English sterling silver serving set. The set is presented in its original fitted box lined with gorgeous royal purple silk and velvet. The spade-like utensil is similar to a typical Victorian tomato server, while the fork is shaped like a tablespoon, but with tines. The set is very versatile and could be used for many contemporary foods...

A magnificent and extraordinarily rare tole tray depicting the surrender of the French army to the English following the Battle of the Plains of Abraham in 1760. The quality of painting is stunning. The two figures in the foreground represent General James Wolfe (in red) and the Marquis de Montcalm (in blue). Both generals died from their wounds within hours of the end of the battle, but the painter took artistic liberties by presenting them both in apparently good health...

Elaborately handled server by Reed & Barton in the "Love Disarmed" pattern. It has the old hallmarks dating back to 1899. This piece is in excellent condition, the figure on the handle and all of the repousse work are very crisp. Originally an asparagus server, it can be used for so many things. It has lovely piercings on the flat portion, and it shows no wear. It measures approximately 11.25" long and 3.75" at its widest. It weighs 255 grams. It is not monogrammed.

A Birks sterling silver baby food implement from 1900-10. This spoon has a 1-3/4" x 5/8" blade. It is stamped BIRKS STERLING in raised script, it has an EHK monogram, and it weighs 17.4 grams. The handle is securely attached to the back of the blade, as this piece was made as a baby food pusher originally, it is not a conversion...

A good example of the remarkable talent behind the wonderful Austrian Bronze handmade, hand painted bronze miniature figurines. Austrian bronzes are individually cast from sand molds used only once, then sculpted and cold painted by hand with several coats of paint. This rare painted butterfly is approximately 1 inch long and 1 1/4 inches wide...

A lovely and unusual Victorian sterling silver jelly knife in Towle’s 1880 “No. 128” pattern. Also known as “No. 28”, this pattern is characterized by a twisted handle, accented with beautiful bright-cut engraving. The serving end is shaped in the form of a leaf and is matte-gilt to highlight the floral engraving. Originally intended to serve savory jellies, the piece could now be used for pastries. The back is hallmarked by Towle and has the pattern number.

Well crafted Burmese repousse Stupa Shaped Silver Ink Well, with removable top and drawer to base, the inkwell decorated in high relief with dragons, Buddha and other motifs, from 19th century era. Turn-of-the-century Germany sterling silver box. Made by B. Neresheimer & Söhne in Hanau, and imported to England in 1914 by Berthold Hermann Muller in London. Rectangular with straight sides. Cover hinged and raised. Squashed ball corner supports. Engraved naif ornamental borders and, on cover top, Renaissance scene with mounted hunter and hounds in pursuit of a stag. With key. Marks include maker’s and importer’s stamps. Very good condition. One-inch bump to bottom rim.

A finely constructed large can with an extra long spout, made to use in the large manshion green houses and gardens of the late baroque period.

Sterling silver grapefruit spoon in Whiting's popular 1909 "Madam Jumel" pattern. The back is marked with Whiting's hallmark, the patent date, and the letter "T" indicating the weight.

Origin: America, circa 1909. Condition: very good except for a small ding at the edge of the bowl, sharp detail on handle, period monogram "P". Size: 5-1/2" long.

A Gorham Set of a Sterling Silver Creamer and Covered Sugar with the Date Mark for 1911, and model number A3180. 17.3 Troy ounces in total. The Sugar is 5" high x 7" wide; the Creamer is 3.5" high x 6" wide, with a gold washed interior. Mint condition.
