This antique 2-1/2" tall and 2-7/8" wide box has a tightly fitting lid, it has an arm and mace armorial engraving and it has the maker's mark for Atkin Brothers (Harry Atkin). An elegant late Victorian jewelry box in the Louis XVI style. The sides and lid are decorated with delicate raised birds and floral sprays against a stippled background. Engraved volutes at the corners accent the main decoration. The edges are decorated in a typical French bound reed design. The whole is raised on turned feet. The brass plating is beautifully patinated to a lustrous sheen.

The tankard stands in a beautiful baroque style with a multitude of floral engravings in the microcarving style, Probably Northern Germany, Initialized and dated 1720 in the lid by new owners. German touchmarks in the top of the handle.

This fanciful Art Nouveau style brass desk box was originally made to hold stamps but would be a great place to store a special ring, cufflinks or a secret. Rectangular shaped, standing on four feet, the hinged cover has a centered sunflower surrounded by leaves and vines, two compartments inside, unmarked. Measures 3 in. x 1 5/8 in. x 1 1/4 in. high. Condition is near perfect.

A very pretty ladies pocket watch, made in Switzerland, antique. The face is heart shaped, decorated in silver and gilt, the case all over finely engraved with floral ornaments. On the back are traces of enamel. The movement marked SWISSMADE. Case and cuvette both numbered 32086 over 5 and stamped 925, with London import marks for 1908, the cuvette also GS, initials that are part of the assay mark. Diameter "1¼/ 3,3 cm. Condition: at present it does not run.
