A set of very decorative early brass irons, with wooden handles, Northern Europe / Denmark c. late 18th.-early 19th. century AD.

The irons with nice fine floral engravings on the surface, and one with royal mongram stamp and D&G stampes as well. They can be dated to c. 1780 and 1820.

Handsome Victorian covered brass box with a beaver finial. The beaver is cast in bronze and is shown chomping on a tree stump. The detail and workmanship on the finial is excellent. The box will polish very nicely, but we have left the original patina.

Circa 1890. Condition: excellent, a small ding at the bottom edge. Size: 5-3/4” tall; 2-7/8” diameter.

One is a very interesting, likely Flemish candlestick, in a white bronze or brass alloy, 16th.-17th. century, the other a North-European candlestick of the bell-type.

The seal cast with an heroic bust of a greek god of war, probably Ares or Athena in the classical style. A monogram of two capital letters finely engraved in the seals base.

A lovely early North-European bronze tripod Pan, dating to mid-late 18th. century AD.

An early type of Scandinavian cuphrite brass metal pan for open fire with three legs and a closed handle. Later crude owners initials from time of use are dating to c. 1800. This particular alloy and type was made c. 1750-1780.

The pan with wonderful patina, extensive wear and repairs from the time of use.

Fabulous brass and copper picture frame in the Aesthetic Japonaise style. The basketweave pattern of the brass frame is detailed with raised copper decorative elements that include a crane standing in a stream, bamboo and cherry blossoms. The back has an easel. A handsome Imperial Russian medium-size hammered brass oval tray with cast brass handles. A tray of this size would probably have been used to serve vodka, and could still be used as a cordial tray or even on a buffet table.
