Ornate sterling silver meat serving fork, the handle decorated with shells, scrolls, roses and beads, and the matte-gilded tines decorated with bright cut engraving. The reverse is marked "925Sterlin1000", a marking frequently seen on American sterling silver before silversmith's were required to identify their work.

18th century hand chased Georgian silver toddy ladle embossed with festoons, birds, flowers and a shield bearing the beautifully engraved initials "EC". These ladles were used to serve toddy from a serving rummer or punch bowl and ideal for warming brandy. The twisted whalebone handle affords a better grip and has a silver end cap. In excellent condition,just needs a little polishing, it measures 13 inches long; bowl measures 2.5" diameter, 1.25" deep. Circa 1770

Classical silver butter dish. Made by Vilhelm Christensen in Copenhagen in 1890. Globular; cover hinged side disc and barbell mounts. Cast double-scroll mounted brackets for tongs and four lion head monopodium supports. Engraved fretwork and stylized pendant flowers. Danish restraint from the perfervid fin-de-siecle. Three-letter script monogram engraved on underside. Marked with maker’s stamp, assayer’s stamp (Simon Groth), and Copenhagen Three Tower mark dated 1890. Very good condition...

The hinged box is fully covered with enamels worked in shades of opaque white, aqua, periwinkle and royal blue, accented with translucent red and green. This elegant brush has repousse decorations depicting Art Nouveau lilies on the top, and fancy swirls on the handle. It measures 5-3/4” x 3". It is stamped Sterling, and there are other, illegible, marks. There is a little bit of damage to the silver at the top of the brush, which is exaggerated by the photos. The handle has an undecorated area on each side, ready to be monogrammed, should you want one. On one side this area has some small dings to it...

Elegant Victorian sterling silver serving dish with intricate repousse and pierced sides. The sides are finished off with a cyma-curve border punctuated at compass points with baroque shell motifs. The bottom is fully hallmarked for London, 1891-92, and has the maker’s mark “WC”. The piece is quite heavy and is of the very good quality.

Sterling silver lettuce fork in International's 1907 "Margaret" pattern. Originally intended to serve iceberg lettufe (a luxurious rarity at the time), the fork could be used for many other foods today. The reverse is marked with International's old hallmark.

Beautiful sterling silver asparagus fork made by Whiting, patented 1891, and sold by Bailey, Banks & Biddle.  It measures 10" long x 3 1/2" wide, and weighs 127 grams.  It is in wonderful condition with no dents, scratches or any other problems.  It has the initial B on the handle.
