A very fine 12-piece set of gilt silver and mother of pearl dessert, fruit or cheese knives presented in their original fitted box. The tapered mother of pearl handles are tipped with silver finials and ferules decorated in a Louis XVI-style ribbon and reed motif. Most similar sets have plated blades, but these are silver. The silver is gilt, a process that is decorative, but also serves to prevent corrosion from the salts in cheeses which were often served in France as a dessert course...

Function and form make up this silver shoe horn, featuring a decorative intricately brite-cut flora/fauna design enhanced with a centered design bird on a fence. The finish looks like brocade and the defined design stands out subtly from the silver. Monogrammed JKS brings instant relatives from the past into the present. A French carving set; knife and fork with silver handles, beautifully engraved and crafted. Made in Paris in the 1880’s, in the classicist Louis XVI style so much “en vogue” at the time. The fork made of ivory or bone, the sharp steel blade of the knife marked Paris. Minerva head hall mark and maker’s mark of a bird, possibly, and E. Length of knife "13¼/ 33,5 cm. Condition: the little knob of the fork seems to be replaced, otherwise fine.

Beautifully designed and crafted German Rococo style silver double-footed vase, vase is decorated with cupids surrounded by floral design and a young boy sitting at the middle playing harp, this item is supported by four legs, from late 19th century period. This antique large claret decanter has a heavy silver handle and hinged top with a ball thumb rest setd on a cut crystal decanter. It measures 13-7/8" in height and 5-1/2" across the base. It is stamped Gebr. Friedland, a Berlin jewellery retai firml, operated by the sons after the death of the founder Friedland in 1829...

A nicely detailed pierced Rococo Revival boat with exceptionally detailed swags, flowers, and cross hatching for a formal setting. The shape mimics a boat and may have once had a liner. Condition is very good with no material defects. Underside is marked Depose 800, which in normal circumstances might be French, but we believe that the crown and possibly crescent to its left indicates a German article, dating c. 1890-1910...

A beautiful enameled silver patch or pill box by Nicholai Alexeyev. The hinged box is fully covered with enamels worked in shades of opaque white, aqua, periwinkle and royal blue, accented with translucent red and green. The cover and bottom are worked in a stylized starburst pattern, while the sides feature floral banding flanked by traditional triangular and dotted patterns...

A rare and absolutely stunning Silver beaker, Northern Europe, possible made as a birth gift, dated 1706.

The beaker very attractive and with a partucularly fine dotted decoration of the body, initialized with the letters PRS:OBL and the dating 1706 below, all in a round medallion. There's two other medallions with floral engravings in symethric intervals on the body.

Very large and Early Silver Beaker, North European, Baroque period, dated 1701.

Perhaps misleading to call this large Baroque Silver vessel, a beaker, it could be used as a vase. A beautiful engraved vessel with dotted decoration on the body and with a central medallion engraved with CFS:BRD and below the dating 1701. A double concenthric line to the rim which is engraved with the letters P:L:A:M:B.

A beautiful engraved and large beaker with an extrafine decoration, consisting of vertical lines, framed with double concenthric lines on the body; with two beautifully engraved Floral medallions and another central medallion, engraved with P.F.S.S / Z.F.D.S and below the inscription with 1704. Stamped with three symethrically placed stamps in the bottom.
