Silver stuffing spoon, 12 1/8" in length, the bowl 1 7/8" wide at the widest point, weight close to four ounces on a common postal scale, bearing the marks on the reverse of the noted mid eighteenth century London craftsman JOHN LAMPFERT, who was known to be working in silver from at least 1749. A Fine Georgian English Silver Claret Jug or Wine Ewer, with a Grape Vine and Leaf Pattern on the Body and a Twig Handle. The Hallmark is London, 1788.
