Rare and exquisite footed, fluted, pierced and engraved sterling Gorham bowl with gilded interior. This gorgeous bowl has it all and makes a beautiful centerpiece. It measures 10 1/2"long by 7" wide and is 3 1/4" deep. The bottom is engraved 1898, but the marks indicate it was made in 1891. Marks include a lion, anchor, G, an a lion head (indicating 1891) and Sterling. It is in excellent condition.

Measures 9 1/2" high, and roughly the same from tip of spout to end of handle, base is 5 1/2" wide and 4 1/4" deep.
Beautifully engraved with foliate and scrolling designs, an oval cartouche on each side. Beading at base and top, bone finial, bone inserts on handle. Handle wobbles a bit, but is firmly affixed with visible wire. Lid fits tightly, no leaks or damage. Base is well marked, and appears to date the piece to the period between 1842 and 1864...

Elegant Napoleon III ivory letter opener and book mark with a French silver handle with repousse decoration. Lovely Louis XVI style sterling silver fish slice. The elegant spade-shaped matte vermeil blade is engraved with the crossed quiver and torch design originally popular in the late 18th century. The blade and handle are marked by the maker, Pot & Cie., and the handle is marked with a French silver hallmark.

A sterling silver cherubs brush mirror & comb set 1890 to 1900. This wonderfully ornate Victorian period set consists of the 10" x 3-7/8" mirror, the 9-3/8" x 2-1/2" brush with natural bristles, and the 7-5/8" long comb. Each is hallmarked for Birmingham, England and they have the Thomas Hayes maker's mark; the brush year hallmark is 1890, the comb year hallmark is 1898 and the mirror year hallmark is 1900. Gorgeous Titania glass vase by historic maker Loetz with engraved silver overlay, ca 1900. Upward tapering sides with gently flared mouth. Sides concave and corners chamfered. Overlay in form of vertical leafing scrollwork mounted at corners and joined on sides by double arches. Glass is mottled and iridescent white shading to green with exposed patches of the solid cobalt blue interior. Very good condition.
