A beautiful Rocco design English chamber stick with snuffer 4”x5.25” Nineteenth Century pewter
Rare, circa 1860, English walnut tea caddy featuring nice clean lines with its only decoration being the word “TEA” inlaid in sterling silver. The lid is hinged and the interior features two separate rectangular compartments with removable wooden lids for storage. In very good antique condition with expected signs of use with some light scratches, a minor nick to the walnut finish, and a small piece of silver missing at the food of the “T”. A pair of black papier mache wine bottle coasters, each beautifully hand painted with a colorful bird within a red and gilt cartouche. The form is quite rare, with more common versions made of silver or silver plate. Because of the date, and the quality exhibited in these, it is quite probable that they were made by Jennens and Bettridge (fl. 1815-1864), the English firm most respected for this type work.
The coasters are 6 1/4" in diameter and 1/2" in depth...

Japanese cigarette case / tobacco box, lacquer on copper with mother of pearl inlay of flowers and birds to both sides. Made in Nagasaki and exported to Europe, where it was given as a Christmas present in 1867 - dedication and date engraved to the inside of the box lid. Measures: 6 " / 15.2 x 3 " / 7.3 cm, height 2/3 ” / 1.7 cm. Condition: the lid with cracks and some loss to the lacquer.
An exeptional rosewood tea caddy with heavy cast brass handles and brass cast feet in casket form with shaped lid and lock. The edges are possibly yew wood. The interior is fitted with removable hinge lidded compartments with a round center for mixing bowl which is not included. Though tea caddy displays beautifully it has a couple of flows, the first of which is a gap in the lid toward the right as you face it...

English Chippindale period Mahogany Looking Glass, Mirror, Ca. 1780, 37" high, 20 1/2" wide, 1 1/4" deep, original Gilded Phoenix Bird in the center reticulated open framed top, original glass mirror bordered by original gold inner frame. The backing is old replacement and there are some repair of the carved top area, reinforced with thin pieces of wood in the back.

Pair of Alhambra bronze mirrors by Tiffany Co., with incised middle eastern designs over surface, with scrolling elements around mirror, and cross hatching and geometric motifs on handle, round hook at top of both for hanging.
Measure 14" high, 7 3/8" in diameter, and roughly 1/2" deep.
The backs are different, one is just flat, the other with step design, both types found in these mirrors...
