A fancy ornate brass oval frame having trefoil cartouches with leaves and edged with beading encircle the mirror held up by easel stand whose stretcher is detached from the frame. However the stand is still most functional. The frame is a very elegant reminder of a lost craft. Please note that we have painted out the glass mirror - not to hide anything other than the photographer.

American high quality multiple step deep carved rectangle size Mirror, 38" high, 47" wide, 4 3/4" deep, the gold frame itself is 6 1/2" wide and 4 3/4" deep with multiple step, circa 1920, wide deep carved floral and wreath of berry and vines on inner frame and more floral wreath on outer frame, high and low relief carved design with polished and highlighted with burnished gold finish on the entire frame. The quality of work is very good and gilding is superb quality...
From our European Collection, a good late 19th / early 20th century cast iron mirror, probably English. A charming but unpretentious piece that can complement many different styles of decor.
Size and Condition: 28 1/4 inches tall, 16 inches wide. Excellent condition, no repairs or restoration and the glass appears to be original: Some general wear to the ironwork commensurate with age as seen in the second close-up, but this only adds to the charm.
An unusual and attractive pair of tall mirrors, each reverse painted with a basket of flowers suspended from a green and gold tassel, further decorated with swags of bellflowers suspended from green and gold ribbons. Encased in original carved mahogany frames with original wood backboards .
Excellent condition with no issues. The sight size of each is 23 1/2" by 11 3/8" and the overall size of each is 34" by 22".
