Beautiful antique drafting table made by the Washburn Shops at the Worcester Polytecnic Institute in Worcester, Massachusetts, circa late 1800s. It has a black cast iron adjustable base with hand painted legs that are in perfect original condition. The height can be adjusted, as well as the top, which can be angled to any degree. An American Federal Fire Screen; Mahogany 3-part Folding Screen on a Two Tiered Stand (one oval shelf over a rectangular one)standing on Splayed Legs. Blue Velvet Panels with Needlework of Elk and Hunters. Dimensions; 42.5" high x 18.25" wide x 12" deep; screen 18" x 15" closed; 36.5" x 15" open. Circa 1810-1820, probably of New england origin. Very Good condition.

A fine antique walnut corner cabinet with beautiful warm patina - though I suspect that it has been refinished somewhere along the road. Wood shelves; dentil molding; wood pegs still present; brass hinges, and closing clasps added. Double doors top and bottom. I suspect that the feet have been cut somewhat. It has normal wear and tear of a piece of this age. The cabinet is at least 19th C, but may even be late 18th century...

Beautiful antique Japanese choba tansu, merchant's storage chest, all original finish with keyaki (elm) wood panels on the front finished in a medium brown, sugi (cryptomeria) wood frame finished with a black lacquer, iron hardware, safe box with two small drawers on the inside, Edo Period (early 1800's). Size: 33 1/2" high x 36" wide (37 1/4" wide including side handles) x 15 1/2" deep.

Early American Chippendale period tall blanket chest. 18th century. Size: 46 1/2 inches high x 41 inches wide x 19 1/8 inches deep. New England origin with a lift top above two faux drawer fronts over three real drawers, and retaining the original snipe hinges. Fancy cut-scroll bracket base and apron. Brass bail handles are replacements. A rare and early tall blanket chest in a blonde finish.

Pair of antique Chinese Horseshoe Chairs made of Elm and original rattan woven seats with original support structure to the underside. They each have 3 back splat panels which are indicative of the 18th Century Kangxi Period. With a slight difference in size, the male chair has a back panel wood carving of a ring connecting two arabesque vine patterns suggesting double happiness in marriage (called a Chou pattern). The female chair has a wood carving of a stylized Lotus design...

Incredibly beautiful original  Vernis Martin French cabinet from the late 1800s. It has wonderful original romantic scenes adorned with brass mounts.  There are two side doors with serpentine glass, and the center glass is convex.  All glass is original, as is everything else.  It measures 74″ tall x 39″ wide x 19″ deep.  It is very good condition, commensurate with its age

Roux was born in France and emigrated to New York where he became one of the most sought after cabinet makers of American Victorian furniture. The bed measures 7'9" tall x 7'4" long x 4'8" wide. Japanese merchants chest known as a gyoshu baku. Made of 100% sugi (Japanese Cypress) wood. Hand forged iron hardware. Single hinged with latching door. Tucked inside are seven drawers. Gyohu bakus are meant to be worn on the backpack for ease of transport and organized storage.
