An antique Huanghuali Chinese grain storage coffer in a square design. The hinged cover has a floating panel with time honored shrinkage surrounded by a frame. There are four protruding grooved square posts, one per corner that adds a decorative element. Hardware has brass mounts. An antique Japanese Cha Tansu (tea chest) made of Kiri (Paulownia), Sugi (Cryptomeria) and Keyaki (Zelkova) woods. With a design of Buddhist influence, it features 2 pairs of sliding doors, five drawers and a lift-out door. The main doors are framed in glass allowing for seasonal and cultural objects to be displayed. All original hardware and lacquer finish.

A pair of meditation chairs made of Huonghuali wood. Seat back has a center key fret design with carved borders that match the arm rests on both front and back. The surrounding skirt has a pair of dragons protecting a Shishi Dog repeating on all sides.
