This attractively proportioned games table is a form famously produced in the Salem, Massachusetts area at the beginning of the 19th Century. A centennial pair of Federal style bench made mahogany stands. Truly fine specimens - each with shaped mahogany top over conforming figured mahogany veneered and beaded case. Each case with canted corners centering ring turned leg posts and with serpentine front. Each front with two beaded and line inlaid drawers each with two brass pulls. From our European Collection, a good 19th century hand-carved hall chair with an armorial / heraldic shield, probably Spanish in origin. The wood used is a dense and heavy hardwood which appears to be either walnut or mahogany. The chair is armless and rests upon wooden casters.

From our European Collection, a very fine Federal Giltwood Pier Mirror, early 19th century circa 1800-1820, featuring a looking glass surmounted by a good maritime scene, bordered on top by a pair of angels exquisitely rendered in gilded gesso suspended beneath an overhanging cornice, and flanked by gilded ribboned columns on the sides.

Circa 1910-1920 British Hunting Silk Hat with Leather Box and Original Bottle of Cleaner and its mailing box. Custom leather box, lined with burgundy velvet, measures 13' by 12" by 8" with brass fittings and original key. Locking device works and all straps and closures intact. Some superficial nicks to the leather and roughness to leather around handle. Some neatsfoot oil would cover in these nicks. The silk top hat, made for the hunts, is black with inside diameter of 7.5 and 6.5"...

Fabulous leaded glass shade by John Morgan and Sons of New York. This beautiful piece of craftsmanship has a mottled green background with pink, orange, red and yellow flowers. When lit, the colors are absolutely phenomenal. The shade, which measures 23" in diameter, proudly sits upon a beautiful Handel base. The whole lamp measures 24" tall and would stand out in any room. It is in excellent condition.

Fabulous, huge, Rosewood American Victorian Renaissance Revival etagere. Embellished with marquetry musical instruments and flowers, this beautiful piece is in all original condition, has been in the same family since it was bought in the 1870s. It measures 10'2" tall x 7'3" wide x 24" deep.

Heavily carved mahogany settee and chair with full winged griffons on arms, paw feet, and carved, reticulated tops. Probably by either Horner or Karpin. Settee measures 48" tall x 63" wide x 36" deep and chair measures 40" tall x 32" wide x 34" deep. One of the most beautifully carved pieces we've ever had the pleasure to offer for sale.

"Era of Men's Finery", a small domed trunk-shaped leather box holding four double cased glass bottles. Each bottle with original gold plated corked cap, silver plate screw top and glass perfume stopper. Leather trunk with wonderful aged patina and nice graining, dome lined inside with brown silk, base with white leather, Circa 1910; Size: 4 3/4" wide x 2" deep x 3" tall. Original vintage condition with character, leather closure re-attached, minor marks, minor wear to plate.
