Antique, circa 1900 A.D. Native American Indians. finely beaded belt pouch, I made of trade silk fabric embroidered with glass trade seed beads. The back is fitted with a belt loop.

MEASUREMENTS: Overall length: 14.3 cm (5.6 inches). Height: 9 cm (3.5 inches).

CONDITION: Shows the age and use, loss of beads, minor wear normal for age. Please note that this is an authentic antique, over the 100-year-old pouch, which was well used, so a perfect condition cannot be expected.

Authentic Antique Museum Quality circa 1750-1850 A.D. Superb Quality Native American Indian Northern Plains long stone ball war club with wooden haft wrapped with rawhide and stitched closed with sinew with blue dyed horsehair suspension, adorned with glass beaded hide, temporarily attached on the metal wire.

CONDITION: Showing age and usage, with exceptional old patina from sweat and grease.

1 3/8" long x 1 3/8" wide. Silver and semi-precious stones (turquoise, jet, abolony, carl). A knife wing god with silver wings and tail feathers, applied silver beading and scrolling wire details.

Two baskets are being offered here and both are from the Northeast, most probably from the Penobscot of Maine. They are lidded, made of splint ash, and use natural dyes of green and orange.

Basket 1, although it has a square base, is 14 3/4" in diameter and 11 1/2" in height. They are about 3 smallish splint breaks as shown in the photos, but the basket is structurally sturdy. Basket 2 has a medial sweetgrass braid and a dyed interior. The 4 3/4" in diameter and 2 1/2" in height.

Tularosa Black-on-White Olla with Dog Head Lug. Ca. 1175 to 1300 ad. This is a beautiful piece that is in as found condition, not broken and has no restoration or repaint. Overstreet states the Agee points are "the finest, most exquisite arrow point made in the United States". They are both 1 7/8". They are both made from translucent novaculite. They were found near the area of the Crenshaw Site. The name of the finder goes to the purchaser. I purchased both on 8-2-92 from Ray Stanford. Agee points of this quality are never seen on the open market. They are extremely rare and hoarded.

Mogollon/Tularosa ca. 1200 to 1300 ad, black on white pitcher with a double effigy handle (clay animal effigy handle with a human figure painted on it, all original) Tularosa is a time period of 100 years that was used by many different tribes from New Mexico to Arizona. I purchased 1, 2 (Bolen), 3 (Hillsborough) and 5 (Hernando) from Tom Davis. i still have his pre-internet catalog which will go to the buyer. He purchased these from one of the oldest and best collections in Florida, John Claytor. Agatized coral is a material highly sought after and prized by collectors and always brings a premium price. Because they are so desirable, they are now being quickly faked...

The carving is cut and polished in one emerald stone and depicts the head of horse. The stone is transperant light blue-green and very beautiful.

A nice pair of carvings in emerald, incl. a finely carved and very large tortoise with segmented shell and a smaller Owl Fetish, Native American, probably Zuni, Navaho tribe and 20th. century (2).

The carvings are cut and polished in one transperant light blue-green stone. The massive turtle probably have had two legs made later and (re)-attached?
