Costa Rica Diquis Tripod Rattle Bowl. Red, 500AD, 7.5" Diameter H 4.25". The legs are of standing figures wearing a large masks, no damage or restoration.
A rare and interesting depiction of a wild dog on a double vessel with a large mug decorated with a relief carving of human figures and with whistle function.
Size: 19,5 cm. wide and 13,5cm. tall, substantial in hand.
Condtition: Good Very fine, intact with a short closed micro-thin hairline at the rim.

A fine and accomplished Blackware vessel with the portrait head of a man, Precolumbian Peru, Late Moche or early Chimú, 7th.-9th. century AD.
Superbly detailed, made as a grinning man with his tungue between his teeth and wearing larger earrings and headdress, the spout of the vessel prodruding from the top of his head.

This ceramic warrior is in the process of throwing a rock with another in his hand and a basket full on his back. It is from the estate of the late Lynn Langdon. The figure was acquired in Mexico in the mid-20th century and is attributed to the Colima horizon, c.300BC-300AD. It is 4" tall. It retains some red pigment. Impressive pottery stamp seal carved with 4 birds (Flamingos?) over a geomethric panel, Pre-Columbian, Chancay, 12th.-15th. century AD.
The stamp is completely intact and massive! There's a projecting spike on the back.
