The leg possibly from Tlatilco and the pestle is unknown . Size pestle 2" on base and the stamp or leg is terracotta and is 2.25" tall by 1.25 W
This is the only bone scalloped triskele gorget known to exist. I purchased it on 8-1-92 from Who's Who, Duke Snider, who purchased it from Tom Davis. It is a whopping 4 1/2 inches in diameter. The name of the finder will go to the buyer along with the original receipt and paperwork. Everything about this piece is 1000% correct. It is a solid piece in excellent condition with no restoration or repair. Needless to say, this is one of the finest bone artifacts known to exist...
A 4 figure group of Pre-Columbian textile dolls, ca. AD 1100 - 1450. They are attached to a 6 in cushion made from cotton, is stuffed with a variety of plant and animal fibers and retains its carrying strap. Each doll is made from different cloth.
Tularosa Black on White Duck Effigy, ca 1175 to 1300 ad., it is in intact condition with no restoration with minor paint enhancement on one side. It is a large 5"high X 5.5"long X 4.5"wide. Classic Olmec los Bocas figure. 1200 B.C.E. -500 B.C.E. this excellently crafted figure has faint traces of red pigment with mineral deposits. He (no breasts, or sexual elements) is wearing a helmet or headdress, with what appears to be some form of jewelry over his nose or upper lip. this piece is all intact with no visible repairs, small amount of normal chipping around nose and feet. Jalisco Pottery Ameca Female Figure. Mexico. Circa. 200 B.C. – 100 A.D. 7 5/8” x 6” . Need more sizes. Hollow pottery example. A medium seated Ameca style female figure, cream slip surface with traces of black painted decoration. Mineral deposits and root marks on the surface. Repaired form approximately six original pieces, left arm retached with breakline clearly visible with loss along breakline.
This extremely rare Inca carved Llama bone blood cup depicts a battle scene. One figure is holding a copper tumi knife and the other is holding a knife. It is 3 1/4" tall and 1 5/8" wide.
