Globular form with handle, tags from a very old 19th. century European collection on the belly!

Size: 10,4 cm.

Condition: Choice with nice patina.

An attractive larger pottery flute with human bust of a female holding hans to her breasts.

Size: 70 mm. tall and 76 mm. deep.

Condition: Intact with minor old lossses.

Provenance: Inger and Ebbe Gotzche Frederiksen, Espergærde, Denmark. The couple lived years in South America, in Ecuador in 1958, Columbia from 1964-1966 and later in 1976 in Peru and Bolivia, and in all of those places they bought the collection...

A nice pair of carvings in emerald, incl. a finely carved and very large tortoise with segmented shell and a smaller Owl Fetish, Native American, probably Zuni, Navaho tribe and 20th. century (2).

The carvings are cut and polished in one transperant light blue-green stone. The massive turtle probably have had two legs made later and (re)-attached?

Zuni fetishes are small carvings made from primarily stone but also shell, fossils, and other materials by the Zuni people...

2 sterling tupu or shawl pins, Peruvian in origin, appear to be older and used examples, likely date to 19th century, in the style that has been utilized since the pre Hispanic era by the Inca culture. Measure: Larger is 8" long and 1 5/8" wide in bowl; smaller is 7 1/4" long and 1 1/8" wide. Both are incised with designs and have loops on each side, these sometimes held other ornamental items attached with small chain. Tupu, or Tupo, have been used in the Andes mountains since pre-columbia...

A pair of very nice ancient fragmentary pottery heads from late La Tolita culture / early Guangala in present day Ecuador, c. 200 BC-500 AD!

Both likely male dignitaries, one of them with with large earspools. The head to the left is chewing coca leaves!

Comes with a costum wooden stands.

Sizable heads, measure up to 12 cm inc. the stand, 6-7,3 cm. for the heads alone.

A white-slipped terracotta bowl with a rounded base, curved walls, a deep interior cavity, and a thin rim.

It features a nice geomethric decoration in a rich brown hue.

Size: 12,5 cm. in diameter and ca. 7-8 cm. tall.

Condition: Nice and intact, small pinhole in the wall and a blemmage in the bottom, perhaps oil or residue from former mounting?
