This is a rare and large ovoid bead which is pierced longitudinally. The top has a rounded surface inscribed with the cartouche of Shabaka „Amen Meri Nefer-Ka-Ra“ and below the expression „living forever“...

Extremely rare shabti of the Prince Hor-Nakht.

Prince Hor-Nakht was a son of Pharao Osorkon II, who ruled Egypt from Tanis in the 22nd Dynasty. Osorkon II
tried to control the entire country so he appointed his son Hor-Nakht as High Priest of Amun of Thebes.
Unfortunately, Hor-Nakht died already at the age of nine. He was buried in the same tomb as his father in the
royal necropolis in Tanis (Hor-Nakht was placed in the same Chamber as his father Osorkon II)...

Nice ancient Egyptian cartonnage fragments with column of hieroglyphic text. These three cartonnage fragments have an interesting and old provenance. They come from the Commandeur Marius Cazeneuve (1839-1913, he was a French stage magician,
who became a close friend of the queen of Madagascar, Ranavalona III) collection;
he got a lot of antiquities from his friend, the noted Egyptologist and Director of the
Cairo Museum, Gaston Maspero...

This is a very rare Egyptian amulet in the form of a hare. The amulet is mounted on a wooden 1920’s collectors base which is inscribed: „Hare, sacred to Osiris“.
It is a seldom opportunity to find an amulet in this good quality and then also attached
